How do they express their love, or how do they want to be loved in return?
Tatum and Mindy mainly use touch, gift and words for their love language. Touch reminds each other that they are still alive, gift giving reminds each other how much they care about each other to remember their interests. Then finally with words...it's a constant reminder of how much they love and care for one another.

Two weeks after the fight at the lake — which Noah rigidly referred to as the Final Stand — Audrey got a call from an unexpected number. Unexpected, but not unknown. They’d all traded information immediately after the attacks, mostly for Emma’s benefit, but no one was ready to answer a number they didn’t recognize for a while, yet. Still, it was a surprise to see the name Brooke Maddox on her screen.
“Hello?”

Summary: When Linda Sandoval was a child, she moved to Woodsboro with her father, becoming friends with the boy next door; Billy Loomis, and his friend, Stu Macher. The three best friends quickly bonded over their love for movies. Scary movies. As they got older, Linda and Stu ended up becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
Life seemed to be going great for Linda. That is until Casey Becker and Stu ended up sleeping together one night. Heartbroken, Linda broke up with Stu and decided to distance herself from him and the rest of their friend group. As the days went by Linda tried to get over the heartache but things got worse. Casey Becker and her boyfriend, Steven Orth, ended up brutally murdered. And Linda Sandoval ends up being a person of interest for the brutal slaying from her and Casey's bitter history.
Not only the cops and reporters being interested in Linda's part of the crime, but so does the killer.
Now Linda finds herself playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with one of her old friends Sidney Prescott, who the killer seems interested in grabbing as well.

Sorry to say though I unfortunately haven't gotten my writing self together to write much of Linda's story 😭so you won't find any fics with her around.
I DO however have a WIP of her story A Little Wicked, cause I'm usually on and off writing my oc stories in my notebook.

I find my curiosity piqued by one Linda Sandoval, whose name has quite the timeless charm to it. I must inquire genially, then, as to young Linda's relationship with her family members. do they get along swimmingly, or is it complicated? how much does she resemble her relatives? perhaps there are thematic parallels between the fates of her parents and her own lot in life?

I'm glad my girl Linda seems to have piqued your interest! Cause there's so much I have planned for Linda and her story that only a few close friends of mine know what those plans are!😉
But anyway! To put it simply to your question, Linda certainly has a complicated relationship with her family.
She resembles her mom, Amy, a lot but really only appearance-wise (Her mom's face claim is Emily Deschanel) They used to be close when Linda was a little girl. She had a lot of fun gardening with her mom.
But, one day when Linda was 10 years old her mom just disappeared one day. Not long after that, her dad packed up all their belonging and moved them to Woodsboro
Her father is a secretive, cold-hearted man who spends most of his time getting working long hours and getting drunk, getting mad at Linda for even the smallest thing. For example, looking like her mother.
So, her parents are the reason why she's so close to Billy and Stu. Whenever she wanted to get away they were always there with horror movies to cheer her up and let her not feel so alone.
And I'm sorry but I can't really answer your final question about the "...thematic parallels between the fates of her parents and her own lot in life." 😭
Cause that would mean giving up my secrets to Linda's fic I'm trying to keep under wraps until I write it. 🥲Whenever that time is.
