“Relax, will you? I’m not planning on going through with some heroic sacrifice or anything like that... You know how much I hate those.”
As she said that, Alisaie stepped back from her brother, giving him a small smile. Of course, she was still injured... But that didn’t mean that she was completely helpless. Not by any stretch of the imagination. If anything, it simply made her want to fight harder, just to prove that she could do it.
Sure, it was risky, but she had faith in herself to be able to take care of matters when she needed to. And this was one of those times, as far as she was concerned.
“I’m just saying that it’s easier to fight when I don’t need to worry about them going after you as well. So you should get out of here. I won’t be far behind, I promise.”

Love Is In The Air?
It wasn’t often that she saw G’raha actually looking shy like this... So it actually took her off-guard. Frankly, she wasn’t sure exactly why he seemed to be so shy over a few simple words, which she had taken as a compliment. After all, he’d given her compliments and praised her before, and hadn’t seemed as shy as this.
And yet, it wasn’t until a few moments when she noticed that there seemed to be a hint of color in his cheeks- or maybe that was just the light reflecting off his hair?- that she got an idea of what might be going on.
And for a few moments, she simply stared at him with a surprised expression.
“Wait... Are you... Flirting with me?”

“Surely it wasn’t that bad... Was it?”
She’d been aware that she’d been wounded, for sure... And yet, perhaps because of the adrenaline, she hadn’t realized just how bad it was. She hadn’t realized just how deep the wounds were, or how heavily she was bleeding. She hadn’t realized it until she had already collapsed, which had doubtlessly frightened the others.
And yet, she couldn’t help but wonder if her condition had been exaggerated. Surely she hadn’t left it that long! It must have just been exhaustion, right?
“I didn’t even feel anything... So surely it couldn’t have been that bad!”

Affection Starters!
She hated moments like these... Moments where her own fears threatened to overcome her. Sure, they were few and far between, but she still hated when they happened regardless. They always made her feel helpless, and unable to really do all that much.
However, now, when she felt G’raha’s arms around her, holding her and keeping her grounded, that feeling was at least somewhat lessened. Knowing that she wasn’t alone, and that she had someone looking out for her when they were needed was somewhat reassuring. Even though she still didn’t like to put more on her companion’s shoulders than absolutely needed.
When something like this happened, though? She was fine with leaning on him... Just a little bit. Or a lot. So, after a moment, she did close her eyes, resting her head on his shoulder briefly, before nodding.
“...Thanks. I just... I need a few minutes, that’s all. So... Just stay here for a bit?”

“Ah... Well... Yeah, I kinda did. Or, at least, I was hoping that I could.”
Though, now that he’d been found, at least he was half-decent when it came to making an escape when needed. So if he had to, and the opportunity to do so presented itself, then he would certainly make good on that escape. At this point, he’d much rather do that than risk a drawn out fight. He wasn’t exactly in the best shape for that, after all.
Sure, he could fight if he needed to, but he’d rather avoid that. He wasn’t so foolish as to think that it wasn’t risky.
“It only made sense to hide myself from your view. After all, that’s the best way to avoid conflict with you.”

“It’s been a while since you’ve been here, hasn’t it? What do you say to a little bit of a tour?”
Alisaie had been working hard lately, of course... But that didn’t mean that there was anything wrong with taking a little bit of a break! After all, that would likely mean she could rest and refresh herself, before getting back to work. And if it meant that Meteion could potentially get a better reacquainted with the world once more, then even better!
At least, that’s how she saw it!
