I am of the opinion that Blink is fantastic. Also because it doesn't require ANY knowledge on the doctor at all, and is still magnificent and exciting :D It's the one that got my parents hooked, and since its from the RTD era, they won't get "disappointed" by the quality of the first two series, something that might happen if you start with a post-series 4 episode. Just an opinion though :3

I borrowed the first part of the Mortal Instruments series from my friend, but I don't want to start it now. I have two weeks of exams starting on Tuesday, and that is not a good time to get hooked on a book, speaking from experience ;D
