 1)    What is your first childhood memory?

The first thing that comes to mind (that I'm sure isn't a second hand this-happened-don't-you-remember sort of way) is that I had a best friend named Ariel in kindergarten. She insisted it be pronounced "Ah-riel" so as not to be confused with the Little Mermaid. But she did have a Little Mermaid tent which we set up in her living room. And she had a glass chess set that we played with, because we were nerdy little 5/6 year olds who knew how to play chess. And at some point I accidentally pulled part of my pinky nail off and it started bleeding and she told me to suck on it so that the blood would go back into my bloodstream. I now know that it doesn't work that way, but I didn't know then.

2)    If you decided to live for a year without ANY products made in China, do you think you could do it?

Probably not. I don't even want to think about how much of our shit is made in other countries, China specifically. I don't think it would be possible.

3)    If you could be an animal, what animal would you be?

I wanna be a house cat. I swear, they have the cushiest gig. I could be all fussy and loner if I wanted to, but then change my mind and demand attention and get it. I could just lay out in a sunbeam and nap forever. That sounds great.

4)    Do you believe in protecting your hearing by using headphones instead of earbuds?

Is that a thing? Does that make a difference......? Doesn't really matter considering I already kinda fucked my hearing during middle school blasting Rent as loudly as I could in earbuds, so now my ears ring a lot......

5)    Do you ever people watch and make up lives and explanations for them/their situations inside your head?

Occasionally. I'm more likely to make fanfiction using them as inspiration for stuff to happen to the characters rather than actually thinking of them specifically. But then, I also worry a lot about making awkward eye contact with people I don't know so I avoid looking at people very long for that reason.

6)    What is the most exotic country you’ve been?

I think I visited Jamaica for like four hours on a cruise when I was eleven. At least, I think that's where we were. Might have been the Bahamas. Idk, all I really remember is that my grandmother wouldn't let me get my hair cornrowed by the people on the beach. It was only like ten bucks, but noooooooo.

7)    Cat or dog person?

Cat. I'm pretty sure I was a cat in a previous life time.

8)    Should woman be granted equal pay?

Yes. And equal everything, preferably. But really, 77 cents on the dollar compared to men at this juncture in time is a little fucked up.

9)    What is your choice drink at Starbucks?

Water. Lol. No coffee for me, no anything with caffeine or carbonation. I pretty much drink water all the time, with the occasional adventurous foray into apple juice or orange juice or, when there are cookies involved, milk.

10) What are you afraid of?

I really don't know. I haven't faced enough in my life to have pinned down what it is that frightens me because I've rarely been frightened. At least, not enough for me to recognize it for what it was. I mean, my knees shake and my breath comes fast when I have to speak before the class, but I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm afraid, ya know? My fears, I feel, are more likely to be those intangible concepts that I won't truly recognize until it's too late for me to do anything about them. When I'm old and gray and looking back on my life, I'll realize what it was that kept me from doing things or enjoying things, and those will be my fears, just that little bit too late.

Where is your favorite place in the world? How do you feel when you’re there? Ooooh. Hm. Idk if I have one favourite place… Maybe Edinburgh, because it’s a beautiful city, and we’re always there for the festival, which is just brilliant fun. Even though I live at the other end of the country, it feels like home – I think I could happily live there. On a smaller scale, I also love our garden, because we put in so much work to make it a nice place, and it makes me happy to just sit out there and soak in the sounds :). BUT, I think I’m always more drawn to people than places, so generally I’m at my happiest when I’m with my friends and/or my boy, wherever we are.

What is the last book that you read (if you aren’t a big reader, what is the last story someone told you?) I am definitely a big reader :D. Last book I read was… Dog Will Have His Day, by Fred Vargas – is good. I’m also working my way through Letters of Note, compiled by Shaun Usher.

Do you have a recurring dream? If so, what is it? Not really, but I used to! When I was little, I had the same nightmare over and over again that a lion had burst into my bedroom and was eating my Sooty puppet… I don’t know.

What fictional universe would you like to visit? Oh man! Hmmm. Hogwarts would be pretty awesome, but only if you got to have powers too… Or supes… but only really because I wanna have Cas bamf me somewhere XD. OR it would be amazing to bimble around the galaxy (for less than 30 Altarian dollars a day) with Arthur and Ford :).

What character from that universe would you like to befriend? Ah. Read ahead. A lesson to learn :D. Hogwarts – Ron – I think we have quite a lot in common. Or Luna, because she’s brilliant. SPN – CAS. He needs someone to hug him and tell him he’s doing a good job and that he is loved. Poor Cas. OH GOD OR JIMMY. Having your two favourite characters played by the same actor is HARD. Aaaaand H2G2 – Ford. Always Ford. He was the first fictional character I cried over – I was so sad he didn’t actually exist :D.

Which tumblr user would you bring with you? Ooooooh, well! To Hogwarts, someonetooksmallbears, cos we’re already well-practiced in school-related hijinx. To SPN… ack, I’d need a crowd! But teawithghosts, glitteryrainbows and mishamallow for sure. There would be more :D. And to H2G2, nemeton, because she would love it, and would be able to give me travelling tips :D.

What is one OTP that makes you smile? Howince :) - they are goofy and cute and perfect and okay yes there is a bit of angsting, but it’s a healthy amount, and it’s just cos they REALLY LOVE EACH OTHER.

What is one OTP that makes you cry? Destiel – because they are so dumb. And they need to communicate. And bang.

What is your NOTP? Megstiel. Ugh. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT. Meg is responsible for Ellen and Jo’s deaths – I don’t think Cas would be okay with that. Sorry.

If you could travel in time (forward or back), when would you go, and why? AAAHH I DON’T KNOW. I never know the answer to this one cos I’m pretty happy! I’d love to see the future though, but I’d just hope that we hadn’t fucked things up too badly – I’d want to see what mistakes had been made so that I could try to help fix them when I got back. Also hoverboards.

If you had to describe yourself as a flavor, what would it be?

Chocolate. I can be sweet like milk but sometimes I am a bit dark. Other times I am so lighthearted I can be like white chocolate. Chocolate can be creamy or like fudge. It can be bitter… Here is some history on it.. (its really interesting how little people know about chocolate)

What is the scariest scene you remember from a kid's movie?

ooh I really like this question, 

I can’t really remember any general movies but the goosebumps puppet movie was terrifying, when the puppet goes over to the kid and turns him into a puppet while he is sleeping, that was terrifying

The start of American Tail when all the cats are terrifying, also the waves and fievel getting lost because I watched it on a boat to Ireland and I was convinced that was going to happen to me

A Troll In Central Park kinda made me scared I would turn to stone (I was 3) 

OH WAIT I remember being scared of Rescuers: Down Under when the Iguana or w/e was chasing the boy and he got stuck down a hole. Also The woman in the first Rescuers who wanted diamonds or something? 

There was also an episode of “round the twist” where the scarecrow came to life and I remember the girl looking out the window and saying “wasn’t it standing over there” and then when her friend looked out it had gone. 

I can’t remember being creeped out at snow white or anything normal? I probably was though, I was the kid that was scared of everything

Also if you are including kids movies I watch now then anything by Tim Burton is terrifying
