Thank you so so much for asking! I always love talking about Jiang Cheng.

favorite thing about them: His Uncle Powers. He has made mistakes in his life, but his love for his family is strong and can be seen in his relationship with Jin Ling. I’m a sucker for AUs and post-canon fic where he gets to be uncle to Lan Sizhui too.

least favorite thing about them: It’s hard to say because a lot of his worst actions and behaviors are rooted in being treated horribly by his parents. I wish he had better communication skills, but I also know why he doesn’t.

favorite line: this whole scene when he eats the soup Wei Wuxian wants because It’s Peak Sibling moment. Also, not any lines but the runner up is this scene where he and Lan Wangji sit in awkward silence while the kids play.

brOTP: I mean Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli. Love these siblings!

OTP: Gosh I enjoy a number of ships with him but don’t really feel attached enough to any of them so say they are an OTP? When I am reading and writing fic I’m really looking for OT3: Jiang Cheng/Happiness/Therapy

unpopular opinion: I think that while he did a really amazing job as Sect Leader rebuilding, I don’t think he should have had to take that responsibility. (I think him being Jiang Yanli’s right hand while she is Sect Leader would have left him a lot happier. Jiang Yanli handling diplomacy with other sects side while he gets to focus on rebuilding their home.)

A random headcanon: ...i don’t think i actually have one. don’t really think of su she that often. 

General Opinion over said character: i feel like the opinion about su she is really rather polarised in fandom. you have the ‘comrade su she’ agenda squad and the ‘su she is a little fucken bitch’ squad. and obviously i feel like the way you see him also kinda....depends on the cultural prism you’re using as reference. ironically, i’m on the fence. the lans are elitist pricks but i feel like su she is a wee bit more of a wannabe than a comrade ;) good on him for open-sourcing lan cultivation techniques tho.

I don’t actually read a whole of chengxian as I would absolutely loathe to accidentally be influenced and pull things into my own chengxian writings. I definitely meant great balls >.< (I realized it as soon as I was headed out I’ve edited the post.) Bahahaa my bad.  Omfg, I just checked and yeah you can’t even get master balls, YET?? You can get great and ultra ones though. Like I don’t know where I got master ball from but upon looking into it, apparently it’s thought that they will be in the game and unlocked at PROBABLY level 40. (Great unlocks @ level 12 and Ultra @ 20) Welc :)
