So help me feel like I’m not crazy, please. But have y’all ever finished something (reading a book, watching a show, whatever). And like, you really enjoyed it. The themes, the characters, etc.
But then! You go and talk about it to the person who got you into it in the first place. And the more you talk to them, you realize, “Oh no! They do not like or enjoy it for the “””correct””” reasons”?
Like they did enjoy it, but for a fundamentally different reason than you did. Do y’all understand what I mean? It just feels profoundly weird to me idk
