In case anyone has been wondering where I've been the past few months (no one has been wondering):
I got completely obsessed with MIKA after Eurovision and have spent all my fandom time since then catching up on everything he's done the past 15 years which is… a lot it turns out. If you (like me) are from a country that only knows him for a few hits from his first album (Grace Kelly, Lollipop, Relax Take it Easy), please do yourself a favour and check out his other stuff. The very short version is that he is still an amazing musician, a gay icon, an incredible live performer and much more. My favourite thing about his songs are his meaningful and (sometimes too) relatable lyrics which I might make a separate post about.
