The child in ch 75 TBHK is Tsukasa Yugi
Fandom’s (that’s a me) theories #2
Written: February 17th 2021
Aight before I start this off, I have only seen the raws for ch 75. This is being posted THE NIGHT BEFORE the English translation comes out. I will be delving into one panel of the manga which is...
This creepy photo.
I’ll get straight to the point- this child I believe is tsukasa yugi.
1) The pupils
This child’s pupils are very small. I know Amane and Tsukasa are basically identical but it has always been noticed that Amane’s pupils are thicker than Tsukasas.
(This is from my Instagram story follow me lmfao @fandomthesickness on insta)
In this magazine cover, there is a subtle difference that the circumference of tsukasas eyes are smaller than amanes. Here is a panel from the perfect Picture arc that shows a bit more drastic difference
It is very very apparent that Tsukasas pupils are indeed tinier. They are spotty and low in circumference compared to Amane’s.
2) The toys
Aight folks let’s look at this panel a second time
(I know I said this already but jeez it’s creepy- makes me shudder)
Don’t the toys in the background seem a little messed up? The truck is missing screws and the bear’s stuffing is spilling out. Sure you can say that “oh this house has been abandoned for 60+ years ofc it’s fallen appart Fandom”
But let’s look into tsukasas nature. It is apparent that tsukasa is seen as more violent than amane. This has been noted by the fandom and the creators. Tsukasa doesn’t take killing and destroying as seriously as amane and has seen to be less empathetic about it.
Amane can get violent too of course but he usually threatens rather than actually follows through (except that one time he actually killed tsukasa lmfao but my point stands)
The toys seem like they could have only been brought to that state from being handled roughly with and tsukasa is a character with tendencies to indeed rough those toys up.
I know there isn’t a lot to go off of here but before ch 75 is released, I want to make the clam that that child is indeed Tsukasa Yugi
(Feel free to reply to this by asking or messaging me- would love to hear thoughts!)
Verdict: TBD

YESSSSS WILL DO I NEED TO CATCH UP ON THE LAST 2 EPISODES THO
So you want to get back into fanfiction? Alrighty then. How about a zutara ficlet: the moment Zuko realized he loved Katara and vice versa,
I gotchu. I couldn’t do both perspectives so I just did Zuko so it wouldn’t be so long. I hope thats ok!
They faced the killer of Katara’s mother and Zuko held a sobbing Katara when they walked back to Appa, who was impatiently waiting for them. It was currently the ride back to the “Gaang” at the campsite and Katara was finally sleeping in Appa’s saddle with Zuko at the helm. He was reminiscing the moment he saw Katara confront that guy’s ass, which he conveniently forgot the name of, and finally get the closure she wanted ever since she was little. He remembered seeing that desire in her eyes, even in the crystal catacombs of Ba Sing Se where she was almost about to heal his mark. Now seeing her sleeping solemnly, with a look of relaxation across her face, he couldn’t help but feel his heart and soul giddy. She looked so at peace and he felt so much fulfillment that he may have earned her trust.
The sky looked so peaceful after the storm passed. The clouds were clearing and the sun was rising and he was seeing its full glory. The skies were quiet with only the rush of the wind filling his ears. He turned around and caught a glimpse of Katara snoring slightly. The bags under her eyes were less than how they were before, not that it made a difference as she was always beautiful. He couldn’t help but keep looking at her, going through every encounter they have ever gone through together, leading to the current moment. Appa groaned as they started going off course due to Zuko being distracted.
“Frick sorry.” He muttered quietly to Appa. He tugged on the ropes and steered them back into the direction they were supposed to be on.
“Stop getting distracted Zuko”, he kept on muttering. “Let her rest and you can speak to her later.”
He got restless because she and he never really addressed what happened. After they got through with the ex-general, Katara sobbed quietly and he put his arm around her till they saw Appa. There was no time to reassess what just happened. He never felt like this before but once he just saw how Katara, with much poise, didn’t let her emotions get the best of her and didn’t bloodbend, waterbend, or even use combat against the vicious killer, his heart wouldn’t stop tugging at him. He was not sure if he could have done the same.
A few hours passed and it was edging to the late morning with the full sun almost in the sky. Zuko’s mind was scattered but all his thoughts came to a grinding halt when he heard a groan come from behind him. Katara stretched her arms and walked toward him, sitting next to him on the crook of Appa’s neck, where the rider would usually sit.
“How long have I been out?” She sniffed.
“You should still be sleeping,” Zuko answered, worried that she was still sleep-deprived.
“You shouldn’t be so worried.” She quipped back. “I think I rested enough. I want to face the next day now.” She continued, placing her finger on her mother’s necklace. Zuko knew that she wasn’t just talking about the nap she just took.
“I don’t think you have ever rested.” He said, looking at her as she faced the clouds with a fresh look on her face.
“Honestly, I’ve put everything that I’ve clung onto ever since that day to rest. It is like all the hatred I’ve seen just dulled out and sleep would just cause me to dwell on it.”
“Speaking of which, you told me that you had a deep level of hatred for that man.”
“Of course..” Katara replied, looking down.
“I have to ask, why did you let him free?” Zuko asked inquisitively.
“What do you mean?” She asked.
“That man took what you loved in an instant. Your whole life changed and as you have said, you hung on to all of that. Why, after all that, would you not even go and repay the favor?” He asked, subconsciously thinking of his torturous father.
“I couldn’t have done it. I don’t think it was meant to be that way. I want to be better from what happened when I was young, and us, saving the world, means that we must be better than the past. That man killed my mother plain and simple, and I shouldn’t make that same mistake because his blood on my hands wouldn’t have eased the pain. My mother would still be gone and I would feel even more hatred. But now, he can finally live with his guilt peacefully and I said what I wanted to. Death won’t solve my pain.” Katara went on, staring into the clouds.
Zuko’s whole heart shook at her message. ‘Death wouldn’t solve my pain’, He thought. He kept rethinking the days when his mother was gone, his father burned him, his banishment, and all he wanted was to seek revenge on his nation, father, and sister. Seeing someone, feeling that same kind of hatred letting go, made him want to cry. It felt like he also found some sense of closure in Katara. She turned her head to look at his golden eyes.
“Does that make sense?” She asked sweetly.
“Weirdly, more than you will ever know.” He replied, completely dumbfounded. Katara laughed slightly.
“Zuko?”
“Y-yes?”
“Let's save the world, and be better than the hatred we feel for the people that have caused us pain.” She said, looking forward at the sun.
Zuko couldn’t look at the sun because he couldn’t take his eyes off of her ocean blue ones. He didn’t even talk much throughout that whole interaction but he never felt so exposed and raw in his entire life.
His heart was in his throat and he was horribly in love with the girl that changed his entire world view.
