am i the only one who likes when bold buffed dudes are subbing and when shy lanky dudes are domming? i enjoy the contrast in general. like yes, let me dom this man in an authority position who has a very deep voice and is conventionally masculine, but let me be dom by the nerdy guy who's overlooked by everyone

IF THEY ARE NOT THE MAIN COUPLE STOP TAGGING THEM!!!!

Do you know how disappointing it is to think you've found a fic for a specific character only for it to BE FOR SOMEONE ELSE COMPLETELY!?!?

Me after seeing the fic after fic, in which the reader is a brat to be tamed

I am not shaming, nor am I calling anyone out. I don't shame people for what they like because I hate it when people do it to me. This is more of a me thing. Obviously, I scroll because if something is for me, I don't have to read it. But sometimes I don't catch it. Im a control freak and hate being wrong. So the idea of someone taming me into submission because I'm being mean, and I have no reason to be mean. Irks something in me that I don't know how to fully express. The idea of being called a brat triggers my fight or flight.

I love writting multiple POVs in my fanfic mostly becouse I love when outsiders noitice how in love the main couple is and how its fate and so obvious and blah blah blah i am an abouloute sap for that.

But like for some reason these charcthers are like overtaking my fingers as i type out their thought becouse they're falling in love which other and having feelings outside of just commenting how the main ship is cute

something i love to see in fics is people adding unnecessary details that aren’t really out of place but are just. kinda random?? and fun???

not every unnecessary detail makes a fic better, but i’ve definitely seen a lot that are so odd that they just work

like today i read “the other cows started mooing as well, probably looking for some juicy grass to eat”

like, the author could’ve described it in any other way; they could’ve stopped at the cows mooing and being hungry, but added the small detail of wanting to munch on “juicy grass”, and like, i just thought that was fun?

the author didn’t need to mention the cows wanting juicy grass, and the detail isnt needed, but i think it adds a personal and whimsical touch to the fic in a sense??

lots of fics add details that just confuse me and feel entirely off topic and unnecessary, bringing more information that i dont need, but i think some authors use such details in a way that makes them silly enough to work

Damn! I hate how any touch on my PC causes it to unplug! I was editing my fanfic when the power cord unplugged and turned off my computer! Now I have to wait for this turtle-like computer to restart, but I checked my AO3 on my phone, THE CHAPTER DIDN'T UPDATE THE EDITS I MADE!!!😭

Now I'll have to wait for this computer to turn on and edit all the WPNZ dialogs, adding all the changes and corrections I made, all because I didn't bother to save the damn thing!!!

as a bisexual woman, if i see one more fic of a male character x female reader that uses the term ‘pillow princess’, i will lose my mind
