My hands looks like this
So hers can look like that
I know I said it would take awhile to finish this, but the recent comments on the last post were really encouraging. I really appreciate the wonderful things you guys had to say <3
So here it is! @perkynurples "For The Ages Of A Day" and "Autumns That There Were". I ended up binding the pair of them together because the epilogue is so short in comparison. I think it came out really well!
I had a lot of trouble with this fabric unfortunately. You can see that the fabric coloration is quite varied and it's very, very thin. Don't buy cloth from Amazon if you can help it lol.
If you want the typeset for yourself, you can find it here:
All of my typesets are available for personal use and are available on my Tumblr page. You can also request a typeset for free <33
To perkynurples:
This is my copy of Le'Letha's incredible frostiron fic "Mirage." I am absolutely in love with this story and I hope I did it justice.
I found this awhile ago so everything is still in the handpainted stage. I wish I had done a neater job but I like it anyways.
The front cover has the designs imbedded into it, which was pretty complicated and finicky but I love the result.
I also really enjoyed typesetting this one. I stead of chapters, everything is in acts. So that was a cool change of pace. I also switched up the chapter header from what I normally do but I love it. It came out really well.
This is my fanbind of @asecretvice wonderful destiel fic "And This, Your Living Kiss." Which is just beautiful. I finished this awhile ago but I've finally got a better setup for photos (still not perfect but eh what can you do).
I really enjoyed making this! It was nice to make a smaller bind for once. The cover is completely hand painted and the design is from what seems to be vintage book cover templates. I wanted the endpages to be sort of scrapbook like? I think it worked pretty well. It's a little empty rn but soon I shall fix that.
Typesetting this was also very fun! I really love the design I decided on. I usually don't do chapter headings in the middle of the page like that but with a smaller bind it's much easier since there's less worry about how much paper you're using.
Finished my bind of @avelera's absolutely gorgeous Dreamling fic Giving Sanctuary.
I'm in love with this bind! The white leather paired with the red vinyl is quite different from what I usually do but I think it works perfectly for this fic. There are a few issues. The leather on the spine did not adhere how I wanted so it's a bit puffed up, but that's what I get for not following instructions lol. (I noticed as I was writing this that the page numbers are messed up 😭. Oh well)
Typeset Requests!
I created a typeset request form. Anyone who wants to request a typeset from me can submit a form request! If you want to check out my collection of typesets (currently only three but on the way to making many many more :)! ) you can check out my google drive <3 https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1A0Am1wOovtbRljfcgrqJc7rnu0atkArt?usp=drive_link *I do not take monetary commissions for fanfic typesetting or binding, and doing so is very risky business. Please read my rules doc on what you can request and what you can do with the type set :)
sometimes you gotta pull up a 2014 livejournal archive for a typeset and thats just how it goes tbh
