Ladies, gentlemen, and beyond!

She's done it again!

I got my dad and mom#2 to watch Renfield as well! My dad detests horror and gore, so I really was surprised. And he laughed at all the appropriate times!! (He even laughed at "don't solve the crime until overtime," despite unfortunately being a vocal critic of the "defund the police" movement). Said if it wasn't for all the needless bloodiness, it would be a very decent film! Highest praise I've heard from him in a good long while!

This brings my body count (hehe) to ... 15 people across three states, to whom I've shown Renfield! Including two exes, three former love interests, two crushes, three spouses of some subset of aforementioned, three parent figures, one roommate, and... one Disney enthusiast who was on her phone the entire time, so maybe she doesn't count.

Am feeling accomplished.

(am feeling more accomplished than when I got my PhD earlier this year. It's pride month and I have to admit, my priorities are not straight 😂)

(incidentally, in that context, words like necrophilia and p*dophilia don't make a lot of sense)
