A few things to all the people who have criticized me because i "Always have to ship characters even if they are not canonically gay/a couple"

So heres :

~ WHAT MAKES ME SHIP CHARACTERS THAT ARE NOT CANONICALLY A COUPLE ~

1.) THEY HAVE NO SENSE OF EACH OTHER'S PERSONAL SPACE

I mean c'mon, there are max. 10 cm between their two faces, and they are quietly talking to eachother, as if it is a normal thing.

Like, yes, everyone talks to their best friend from a distance where you can basically see their soul, right?

No. Wrong. You two have to be in love or something.

2.) THEIR FAMILIES TREATS THEM LIKE THEIR SON/DAUGHTER'S BF/GF

When character A introduce character B to their family and they all treat B like A's fiancée, make comments and insinuations, let them "have a moment alone" or things like this.

Or like when the mother welcomes B and treats them like they are already part of the family, like another son/daughter.

Their families are me in these moments, we already see their future together.

3.) WHEN THEY REMEMBER THINGS ABOUT EACHOTHER

I genuinely love when they remember preferences, or things like traumatic experiences their partners have had so they can avoid anything related to that to make them feel better.

Or they remember everything that might be intimate, like blood type, food preferences, things their partner mentioned a single time years ago.

I mean, gosh, you remember exactly how much sugar and milk your partner wants in their tea, so when you make it for them it's perfect.

Sooo romantic.

4.) WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING LIKE A SPECIAL CONNECTION

When character A is good and gentle just with character B, and a complete asshole with everyone else.

Or when they understand each other when no one else does, they are on the same wavelength.

Or also when character A is not really a good person and character B is the only one that can moderate them.

So, yeah, "let them just be friends," but gods, if they're like this, how can I not ship these two?? These things are like a trap to me, I know damn well that when I see these signs I'll become obsessed with them.

Btw I just think everyone should be free to ship whoever they want without being judged.
