that’s actually forbidden by the terms of service. you can’t use AO3 to promote a way of making money. they rely on donations to stay afloat so it would really suck if they allowed people to use them as free storage while making money off them.

they did and do! but i have like. maybe three followers still active left on LJ/DW. XD;;; so either i don’t lock it and it’s just as accessible as posting on tumblr in the first place, or nobody sees it because they’re not gonna sign up just to read a story.

I just ordered one of your super cool bowls and I was wondering, do you plan on putting more stuff in the shop more often? I had thought you were going to have more mugs or something in there that I could snag but it was only the bowls. I understand if you're concentrating on your Patreon at the moment though I was just curious

i do intend to have more stuff in the shop more often! but between patreon rewards, commissions, and personal sculpture work— and balancing studio time with at-home illustration jobs—it’s been difficult to find the time to make for-sale items. plus, for-sale stuff uses up clay at the same rate as for-commissions stuff, but has a much lower probability of getting paid. 

 i’m definitely thinking i want to get more robot mugs done, and owls since i like owls, and maybe more jellyfish since they seem to be in high demand. but still, i don’t think i’m gonna be hitting wal-mart levels of product availability any time soon!

I had an idea for a mini fic exchange

Basically, y’all sign up and we arrange in a circle. Then each person picks an existing (non-fanart) image and sends it to the person on ver “right”; that person then writes a Rose/Jade fic based on it and puts it on AO3 as a gift for the person on ver “left”. (It doesn’t necessarily have to be Rose/Jade, but I already have an image picked out for that ship.)

I’m thinking we’d go with ladystuck fic standards: 1k words, but complete. Maybe if there’s enough interest we can repeat it again for another ship later.
