Found two Dark Tower shirts

and I WANT! problem isn't even the cost it's that I want the bottom text from shirt 1 on shirt 2 because I like the text on 1 but the design on 2

Just had to copy this down from Under the Red Hood since it one of my favorite dialogue/monologues and it got cut from the movie. This is one of the reasons I think Black Mask is a great villan, he doesn't deny being a gangster but he does call bullshit when someone implies his badassery is just show.

After a rather shitty start to the day I got a little box of happiness today.

New additions to my Tron Collection.

I now have every Rinzler pack and an awesome lanyard.

My oldest and most loved fangirl shirt.

This baby is almost 20yrs old (got it in '96 just before the 'new' show started) worn to the point of holes and an almost gone hem. It's soft, comfy and still glows in the dark.

The thing that makes me love it best though is the reaction I get wearing it. Even in a sea of nerds this shirt gets noticed.

Example: I work in a call center which seems to be a prime place for people to show their geek. I don't think I've gone a day without seeing; Adventure Time, Doctor Who, Pokemon, Star Wars, and/or some  comic book hero plastered on someone's chest and no one bats an eye.

Yet I showed up today in this shirt and someone actually stopped me to ask "Is that a Jonny Quest shirt?!" When I confirmed yes it is. Not only did I get a high five I later overheard said co-worker telling their friend on the phone about the "Cool manga chick wearing a Jonny Quest shirt."

Re-Reader Rant

So I had someone ask me today if the book I was reading was new and my Response was  "Naw re-reading again needed something light after that last series (also a reread)."

"You RE-read books?"

"Yes?...Wait you don't?!"

"Never!."

Dumbfounded I thought about it and approached her at lunch with a follow up. "So you've really NEVER re-read a book? Ever?"

"No, why would I re-read it?"

"Because it's a great story or the characters.."

"I already know how it ends. There's no point."

Again I was left dumbfounded as I tried to comprehend her point of view.

How can you go even the majority of your life and have never re-read a book? Or even a story? i now wonder if she re-watches movies...

What kind of crap must you be reading that you never once caught yourself thinking in 4 sided triangles, or spirals or (god forbid) 19.

To not stop yourself from using words like 'dibbuns', and 'Sai' day to day.

Or have something like "Oly oly Oxen Free" take on a whole new meaning.

And how the hell do you not want to do it all over again?

I don't think I can come up with something more depressing than that

Me- *across the room* WHOOT!!! WHOOT!!!

Seven 11yrolds and 5 adults turn to stare at me.

Me- What? You said make some noise.

I am now 'cool' to my sister's friend.
