Concept art for the Fanime2017 mascots!

The creative direction I was given was the theme “School of Magic”, with inspiration drawn from Harry Potter, Little Witch Academia, Vampire Knight, and Shinshi Doumei Cross to name a few. Here’s some process showing how I approached designing the outfits and how I roughed out the sketches before getting approval to move onto the final artwork seen here.
