“Thank you so much to everybody who sent messages and replied to those...”
i've followed you for years and i followed you back when i was super into spn, and now i still smile when i see your name because you bring back good memories of middle school :)
Oh wow thank you omg I've only been in this fandom for 4 years...this made me feel like I've been in it longer than that lol well it does feel like it though :D
hello there friend! have a nice day ! oWo 1,3,6,15,41,44,45,53,67,104106,107,114,117,123,124,131,147,169,187,199,213,214 (lmfao if you want to), 216,217,228, 251,252,265
All right…I’m adding a continue reading bar just so people don’t have to see this on their dash if they don’t want to. But here you go!
1 - How are you? Stressed. One of my kids at work is having anger management issues and I just don’t even know how to handle him. Another has a phobia of elevators so I had to coach her through going up and down it today which took a lot of time and energy and tears from her. And then I have two twins who just don’t seem to be able to process anything… kindergartners will be the death of me I swear. Other than that I’m good!
3 - Do you ever wish you were someone else?Doesn’t everyone at times? Yes, I have wished I was someone else. But to be honest, I think everyone has their struggles and I don’t know that a new identity would change anything all that much. So for now I’m just doing my best to be happy being me.
6 - Age you get mistaken for:When I was younger (like high school) I used to be mistaken for a junior high/elementary aged student. Thankfully I’ve matured enough now that most of my coworkers are startled when I tell them I’m only 23. I guess I just act older than I am. Or the stress is already causing wrinkles and gray hair. ;)
15 - Your opinion about your body and how comfortable you are with it: Wow hardhitting questions. I love lots of features of my body. I love my eyes and I’m delighted that I have naturally straight teeth. I like my legs pretty well though I’ve been told they are apparently my father’s (perhaps he just has shapely calves too). I do have self-esteem issues, but I’ve lost 15 pounds in the last year and it’s helped me feel a lot better about myself overall. I’ve never been a big dieting or weight-loss person, but I’ve found keeping regular exercise schedules and eating good food has just really made me feel better overall. So that’s positive right? I think that’s kind of what it’s come down to for me, is that I realize the number on the scale doesn’t define me, but I like being able to fit into the clothes I want to wear and being able to be as active as I like. Anyhow, still have a ways to go on feeling good in my own skin, but I’m making baby steps in the right direction.
41 - Share 2 habits:It doesn’t say bad but I kind of assume bad when I see the word habit. I bite my nails and I drum my fingers a lot when I’m anxious.
44 - What is your ideal career?Ideally if everything worked out perfectly I’d love to be an author. If not that then maybe a librarian.
45 - Is your life anything like it was two years ago?No. I was in college two years ago in a different state. Now I’m living at home with my parents and working several part time jobs to pay off my debt. So beyond still being me and dealing with some of my same issues, life is completely different.
53 - Ever come close to death? I’ve called suicide hotlines before…so yes sadly.
67 - 5 things you want to change:In myself? In life? Wow so broad. Um we’ll do these: 1. Portrayal of women in the media 2. Anti-LGBT legislation 3. minimum wage 4. Jobs 5. The past… Not perfect but there’s a few things.
104 - Where you want to be right now? My first though was the beach. Honestly just away from my work and off on vacation somewhere I’ve never been before. Yes.
106 - Would you ever smile at a stranger?Well…I mean I’m expected to be courteous at work and all, so yes I’ve smiled at strangers… context is kind of off on this I guess. As in someone I thought was attractive? Possibly?
107 - Do you prefer to be friends with girls or boys? Girls.
114 - Have you ever felt replaced? One of my best friends in high school basically stopped seeing me over summers but continued to talk with me online as though nothing had changed…and yet she went to visit friends in really far away places like it was nothing. So yes, I always felt pretty replaced by her.
117 - Story of your first kiss? It was on a gondola ride at sunset as the light faded and we…JK. I have never been kissed. This girl I used to like always told me I should just find someone I trust and get it over with. To be honest I still feel that way sometimes.
123 - Do you believe in love at first sight?Um… not really? I like the idea I suppose, but I don’t really think it’s real. After all, I’d hope you’d love someone for more than outward appearances.
124 - Do you believe in soul mates? Again the idea is a very pleasant one. I read a lot of soulmate AU actually in fanfiction… but I don’t know…I think it oversimplifies things a little. I think relationships are work, and the idea of “soulmates” can make it seem like you’re either right or wrong for someone rather than just needing to work and compromise to get through your differences.
131 - Would you ever date someone off of the Internet? My first and only relationship was with a girl I met online. So yes. I would if I met the right person and actually took the time to get to know them this time around.
147 - Is there a boy/girl who you would do absolutely everything for? There used to be. Not anymore.
169 - What is your definition of cheating? Hmm…I’d say breaking a commitment that you have with another person.
187 - A song that’s been stuck in your head: Well I’ve been listening to “If It Isn’t Her” by Ani Difranco on repeat for inspiration on a fic and it’s been pretty well stuck now. Also Head Shoulders Knees and Toes (thank you work) and something we sang in church last week.
199 - If you had to delete one year of your life completely, which would it be? Freshman year of high school. Definitely. I hated that year. So much.
213 - If you met me what would you do? Take some time to chat and get to know you better!
214 - YOU have to leave me a random/ridiculous question: Will do.
216 - Is the cup half full or half empty for you right now? It feels half empty but I am doing my best to try to fix how I’m seeing that. I’m trying journaling positive things that happened during my day and things I’m thankful for every day. We will see if that makes any kind of difference.
217 - Do you believe in fate/destiny? In a way. I believe life has purpose and meaning and direction. So yes.
228 - If you only had 24 hours to live, what would you do? Spend one day doing my favorite things and make sure I said my goodbyes to everyone I love and care about.
251 - Does anyone hate you? Not that I know of…but it wouldn’t surprise me if someone did. I come across as a bitch to a lot of people… until people start realizing my cold exterior is merely protective instinct so people don’t see how insecure I am.
252 - Do you hate anyone? Um…hate’s a strong word. But…the friend I mentioned earlier…sad to say I’m still dealing with a lot of anger and sorrow over how our friendship fell apart and all the ways she hurt me. Beyond that not really. And I still wouldn’t even call that hate really.
265 - Describe the most terrifying/strangest/beautiful dream you’ve ever had:I actually wrote this one down:
My family decided to go to a movie together. We went to find our seats and I left to go to the bathroom. When I came back the theater had changed. I walked back from the bathroom and dancing had startedand it was joyful and beautiful, and magical. The theater had expanded into afield. I found my way back to my seat and sat down. But mom wanted to getcloser so we went under a tree to look out at the whole spectacle. At the frontthere were decapitated horse heads that kept swaying back in forth in time tothe music. It was beautiful and I enjoyed it. And then it came to an end andeverything went still. I woke up after that. It was strange.
I also once dreamed my roommate tied me up and drowned me… so yes fun things.
Hope that wasn’t too ridiculous!
Thank you so much for all these asks! I really enjoyed answering them!
