25.  What do they most hate? and what do they most love?

I thought something summarized would be good enough instead of a long paragraph, that way you can also guess why there’s certain things they love/ hate

Thanks so much for asking! You can ask any time and any of the kids, even all (which I’m starting to accept is going to be like)

So let’s get to it! (pretty long so undercut)

27. How do they change throughout their school years?

I still don’t have it all figured out, so this is just the basis

Ro starts as this stoic kid that cares for nobody else. She goes through her days without paying attention to anyone else. Her cousins and her two friends are enough for her, besides, why would she want to befriend anyone when she’s seen how many make fun of her cousins’ apearance. Not to mention the rumors of herself being cursed and going mad one of these days. No thank you. But of course, chivalry is a gryffindor quality, and it brings her to care about injustice, so everytime someone’s in trouble, she steps in, earning her a Prefect badge, which she immediately hates. So she uses it to her own uses and abuses her power however she sees fit. She also meets Remy and oh boy, does she have a special talent to bring Ro’s walls down. And Ro starts to slowly open up a bit, at least to her, and is more approachable than before

Tiago starts as this cute charismatic kid that’s quite shy and reserved, with a certain innocence to him, adding to his obliviousness to many things. He’s very good at getting away with pranks, either by having a good plan, or by using her sister as shield. He’s always up for helping people, which ends up in many people using him, and soon learns to place his great kindness on certain people. As he grows he calms a bit with the pranks, they’re less “wild”, and loses this innocence he had to him, getting a better understanding of people and their motivations. He also starts to realize the world isn’t black and white, there’s shades of grey as well, but never loses the sense that he should always aim for what’s good.

Thibault is this sweet ray of sunshine that just wants to make friends and have fun, unfortunately for him, his reddish eyes and long fangs make him the target of very cruel teasing that goes along with bullying, thanks to him not being the best at defending himself, since he hates confrontation, leading to him and his cousins to end in a lot of trouble with others for a long time, the aftermath being him getting anxious being around many people and his cousins not making any friends. He blames himself for being weak, and it takes long before he accepts that it wasn’t his fault. He learns to fight back, in a very slytherin way, making sure to never get caught by teachers, and slowly manages to make more friends and actually enjoy group activities, like he wanted once

Lore, being the contrary of his twin, abrasive, agressive and cruel, reacts to the mocking and bullying in a very violent way, she acts out, pushes everyone away and makes sure she’s quite the issue to be around. It does backfire when she starts to get crushes and all, but she won’t relent. She slowly starts to show her nice side to a few others, and her charm easily pulls in anyone who takes a glance. She calms down, and instead of going around being a jerk, she simply brushes people off, her way of expressing herself is toned down and just like Ro, she is more approachable, which doesn’t mean she’ll actually listen or be willing to help, she just won’t bark at you to fuck off. It certainly feels like someone tamed the wild wolf.

29. Are they the “bully”, the “victim” or the “hero” of the situation?

Tiago would lean towards the “hero” type, at least with friends. Ro is more neutral, she will help anyone who needs it, but more out of annoyance nobody else is doing it. Unless it’s Thibault, then she’s in for a fight because she cares a lot.

Lore is on the bully side, but she doesn’t target anyone specifically, she’s just acting out to let everyone know she’s not one to be messed with. It’s not that she wants to play the bad guy role, but it’s the one that let’s her have some “peace”

Thibault is definetly the victim for years. He hides, makes himself small and invisible to not get attention. his survival instinct is that of the lowest animal in the food chain, which doesn’t help his self-image. Takes him a lot to stand up for himself.

2. Favorite class?

Tiago loves Herbology to no end. Loves how different parts of the same plant can be used for certain things, how they adapt, what they can and cannot do, their colors, the sweet smell of certain flowers, how some classes will be calm surrounded by potted plants filled with beautiful flowers while rays of sun fill the greenhouse while other classes it’ll be an adventure of it’s own, trying to not get bitten by fanged geraniums and hearing someone curse outloud from being sneak-attacked by a Venomous Tentacula

Ro on the other hand loves Defence Against the Dark Arts. She has a thing for power, and this class makes her feel like she’s moving towards gaining a lot of it. Be in control whenever anything tries to stike. Likes the thrill of duelling, of facing anything thrown at her. And there’s a pull towards curses she can’t explain. She gets a rush when performing a dangerous flashy spell and it goes well.

16. Do they have any gifts, like singing, dancing, painting, dueling …?

Tiago is agile and has a lot of balance, so Figure skating almost feels natural to him. Both him and Ro play the organ, a tradition from the Prieto family Neon decided to keep because it was a nice one. Although Tiago sings horribly and won’t even try. 

Ro on the other hand has a wonderful voice, but just like her mom she acts like she doesn’t. She’s seen her moms dance around the living room, along a soft voice singing a tune. When she’s cooking, or fixing something at home. When she or Tiago can’t sleep, her mom sings to them. She makes it her little secret talent and just like her mom (and grandpa) will only share with family and that special someone. When Thibault finally confides in her and tells her about theatre he makes her sing and dance with him. 

She’s also really good at flying, and will pull dangerous stunts. Makes her a pretty flashy seeker.

17. How are they in the studies? hard, relaxed, or trying …

Tiago loves to learn new stuff, and will pay attention at class, his notes are so neat and well-put, many of his friends will ask him to let them borrow them. He makes schedules and studies hard. He’s a learning machine, will easily tell you anything you need to know. If he wasn’t such trouble outside of class he’d be an exemplary student.

Ro on the other hand is a mess. Leaves studying for last, hates homework with a passion, will distract herself with other stuff and fall asleep many, many times. But she’s got really good memory, so she manages just fine with grades.  It drives her brother insane

Hey~ Can I ask 12, 13, 15 and 16 for the fankid ask game? ✨

Okay, first of all, can I thank you? Actually thank you because these asks? They made me draw the most wholesome things and I just loved it? I felt so happy drawing these, that I forgot all the stress I had from the previous weeks of work?? So yeah, THANK YOU FOR THESE ASKS!

Anyways, I feel like answering these backwards 

So, 16 was answered here for Ro and Tiago. As for Lore and Thibault:

16. do they have any gifts, like singing, dancing, painting, dueling …?

Lore is pretty good at drawing, she’s got a bunch of papers with doodles from classes, when she’s studying, when she’s bored... She usually draws what she sees, so most of them are part of a classroom, a bunch of students playing outside, and they’re all amazing, but she won’t show anyone.

Thibault, like Ro, has a great voice. The diference is that Thibault would love to sing outloud in public, but alas, he’s too shy and anxious to do so. He has a thing for theatre and really gets in the paper, the more diferent the character is from him, the more bizarre it is to see him. He did “Meant to be yours” from Heathers with Ro and to this day she still believes her cousin got possesed by a phsyco or something because man was that freaky.

15. What is their relationship with other fankids? Do they know any?

(Okay, so I don’t interact much with others here, nor I have a discord yet, so...)

It’s already known (I think) that Tiago is roomies with Logan ( @phyl-the-gryffinclaw ), and they’re both good friends. If Tiago is about to get caught and his sister isn’t on sight, he’ll go to Logan because he ain’t no snitch. Logan is nice and quite peaceful, so it’s a mystery why the chaotic kid that Tiago is, is friends with him, but Tiago genuinely enjoys his company and friendship beyond getting a safe scape from trouble.

Tiago easily makes friends, and he likes to, so any kid that speaks to him might end up being in his friend list after two interactions 

As for the ‘three amigos’...

If they’re a prefect, Ro probably knows them, and most probably dilikes them as much as she dislikes being prefect. She might know any gryffindor kids, at least the ones that cause more trouble

Like Ritchie, whom she might, MIGHT, have a bit of a soft spot because he kinda reminds her of Tiago (I drew this not long ago, so he’s blonde and I didn’t change it, sorry @guakamaya )

I think she also knows Dora ( @annevmoreira ) as the shy girl and will take it easier with her.

Thibault remembers most of the kids faces and names, but won’t talk to any of them because poor boy is scared, there’s a chance some of them have said something about his fangs, wether it was an innocent question or a jab to the fact he looks like a vampire or anything else, he will avoid them because he’s had enough bullying and trouble before.

Lore is the worst by far, she’s not a bad person, but boy does she act like a jerk. It’s her own way of dealing with the fact that people might want to “befriend her” to later make fun of her and abandon her. A different aproach than her brother. 

13. How is their relationship with their parents?

Neon made sure her kids had what she didn’t: a home, two parents, a ‘psycho uncle free’ life... They’re a bit chaotic in the parenting department and have made many mistakes, but somehow made it all work. She and Tulip also balance each other out. Neon will spoil them to no end because well, “what is money lol” and Tulip will put a stop to it, while Neon puts base rules and will ground the kids whenever they missbehave, Tulip will probably let them off the hook easier.  They’re pretty chill about stuff, will be open to any sort of trouble the kids have and try to have as much fun with the kids as possible. And they’re also the embarassing parents that are super loud at tournaments and events, will be cheesy in public and they even have a whiteboard at home called “How to embarass our kids in any situation given”

As for Laura and Bastien, they’re the sort of loving parents that are a bit of a mess because they want to do everything perfectly but can’t because they’re people, but even then, in their unperfect household, everything is warm and cozy and the kids get a great home. They try to have as much time together as possible since Laura is the Head Auror in the Magic Congress of Spain (which I had to make up because apparently spain doesn’t have a Ministry of Magic). They’ve always been confortable with PDA, which is an unvoluntary way of embarassing the kids. Overall they’re that very cute family that will plan a vacation, everything that could go wrong will go wrong, and yet they’ll get to have a fun time.

12. How are they in romance?

aah yes, I knew someone was gonna go for this one ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Alright, so, as Andre says, most students don’t start dating ‘till they’re at least fourth years. So keeping in mind they start to think about it around that time...

Tiago, the very late blooomer won’t be interested in dating in all of his years at Hogwarts. He’s in no rush to date nor try to figure out exactly what is it he likes and is anyways, and his moms are pretty calm about it (there might or might not be a bet in the family about it). Since he’s such a cutie and a nice fun boy, I’m guessing some people will ask him out on dates and stuff, but he’ll always reject them because he wouldn’t be into it and it’d be unfair

(Yes, older Tiago colors his hair like mommy, “My moms say I look very handsome so shut the fuck up!”)

Thibault is a mess. He has a hard time making friends, imagine trying to ask someone out. He’s honestly the sweetest boy and tries to do a ton of fun stuff with whoever he likes. At first he’d be a sweaty, mumbling, stuttering mess, but as he gets comfortable with that someone, he gets calmer and is very easy to talk to. 

Lore, grade A jerk, abrasive, aggresive and crude is an actual sweetheart that will take any lucky girl on the most fun dates ever. She’s flirty, charming and a light tease. She’s up for big romantic gestures, which is a surprise nobody expects. She shows the side only her family knows.

As for Ro.... I.... Oh geez, I don’t know. Should we ask her girlfriend maybe?

11. How sensitive are they to their own failures?

Ro, like her mom, hates it. They’re both sore losers, and try their best to not fail at anything, but of course that’s not possible. She’ll be upset for a while, depending on how much she cares, it might even follow her for years, and come back to her mind when she fails again, reminding her she hasn’t gotten better since last time. (Good thing she’s got a girlfriend to cheer her up)

Tiago has a more optimisstic look, and tries to think about it as a learning experience and will convince himself there’s nothing to be ashamed of, but he’ll feel down, he’ll hide it and try to move on as fast as possible.

Lore is surprisingly calm about it. Because she bottles it up. She’ll act like it was nothing, probably as if the situation is just stupid and will leave to be alone. It’s better to leave her until she’s cooled down because otherwise you’ll face an even more agressive badger than usual, and she’s usually quite agressive on her own. She’s so angry at herself but she doesn’t exactly know how to let it out except rage, so you’ve been warned.

Thibault will also look for alone time, but unlike Lore, he will seek solace because he doesn’t know how to deal with the negativity failure has on him. He takes the blow hard, and will question his self-image, wondering if he’s actually good enough or is just lying to himself. It’s best if he has someone who will follow him and make sure he knows it’s okay to fail.

21. Do they have any pets?

Ro has a cat named Zugarramurdi, a town said to have witches, pretty famous in Spain, they even have a museum of witches. Kinda like her mom named her cat Salem. She might have named the cat like that to take the mick out of everyone (that’s definetly the reason). It’s so hard to say after hearing it the first time... And people get mad when they hear her call the cat “Zuko” for short without telling them that was an option too.

Tiago has a toad named Lalo, which is very easy to identify because Tiago keeps making diferent hats for him to wear. Don’t get to close to the toad, it will jump towards anyone’s face

And they have a Saint Bernard back at home. They begged for one for months and Neon finally brought the puppy home for them. They love him so much because he’s the biggest, fluffiest thing, so calm Tiago will hug him and practically lay on top of him and the dog will just stay put.

Lore has an owl, named Owl, because apparently she couldn’t be bothered with thinking a name. It’s not like she dislikes the animal, she actually thinks the bird is pretty neat, and got the one she liked most. She just hates having to think something as trivial as that. She feels pretty badass when she has Owl on her shoulder or arm and he hoots at anyone that goes near them. Sometimes she’ll go to the owlery to give it treats and scratch him a bit while talking to it, specially to complain about hufflepuffs.

Thibault has a cat named Chaussettes, which means ‘socks’ in french because the cat looks like she has socks and he thought that was very cute, also the name sounds cute to him, so...  Also, she steals socks as well, always one from a pair to be extra annoying, god knows why, the cat loves to steal them, go to the nearest window and let it fall.

I took so long to start these, but here we go! Thanks for the ask! All of them… I’m gonna go with the family gang

14. What is their relationship with the Muggle world?

Since Laura and Neon had a lot of exposure to it, and their home back at Spain is pretty close to the muggle world, they definetly know about it and have some knowledge. So just like their moms, the develop certain hobbies and tastes for Muggle stuff.

Tiago absolutely adores Ice skating and practically begs his moms to let him take skating classes. next thing you know he’s participating in figure skating tournaments. He just loves it, and he’s got talent.

(He’s very focused, probably has a soft melody)

Thibault goes to see her aunt Neon at a special play when she reunites with some old pals from when she did theatre for a musical, and the boy just falls in love. He’s got a great voice and loves singing, so musicals are his weakness. He’s a shy kid that has trouble making friends so he sticks with “performing” solo when he’s home alone. He’s told nobody about this, maybe someday he’ll get the courage to audition for a small part at the local theatre.

In a less specifict tone, The kids like certain muggle bands, for example, Ro loves “La oreja de Van Gogh” and “Amaral”. Some muggle candy and football, the only sport where they all root for the same team.
