𝐋𝐀𝐙𝐔𝐋𝐈. （ KRAN frametype by @cuppajj ）
A sweet & composed bot who often thought of others' well-being than her own, oftentimes that led her to being in harm's way and to where Lazuli is now, on a planet filled with organic life faraway from the home she once knew.
WARNING: long post !
As Lazuli traveled far from Cybertron to escape from the madness that is her crazy ex-partner, then one thing led to another, a massive ship malfunction caused her black out to wake up in a random planet.
In a state of shock and bewilderment but quickly calming down, after she finds herself having crash landed onto an unknown planet.
Suddenly, there were noises coming from outside which worries her a bit on what awaits her outside her ship, however, a strange turn of events, shockingly revealed...several blue little creatures the size of her foot is outside looking at her with large beady eyes, unexpectedly having a staring contest as she was still in disbelief of everything that's happening to her right now, slowly entering back into her ship and closing the door in front of her... Lazuli tries to pretend that everything's fine until the little creatures from outside screamed, "WE FOUND DA QUEEN", she flinched and turned her helm, thinking 'primus help me'.
While trying to calmly tell these little creatures that she was not their queen, it didn't seem to register it in their minds and they still happily took her to their village and Lazuli a bit frustratedly followed since they wouldn't leave her alone in the ship.
Considering how large she was compared to everyone else, all of them noticed her presence then the other creatures started to gather around her admiring, praising, and celebrating the fact that they found their queen at long last and unfortunately for her, it was not easy to hide the fact she was feeling a mix of embarrassment and confusion even if she tries to cover her faceplate with her servo.
Finally, after wandering around the place, they lead her to a large tree with lots of leaves in front of it made for her arrival which surprised Lazuli but she appreciated it and chuckled, sitting on the makeshift cushion leaves and rested against the large tree, Lazuli watches them all celebrate and party in front of her.
None of this made one bit of sense to her.

SMALL HEADCANONS:
Lazuli still appreciates the little blue guys for giving her a home and doesn't regret that much that she protects them all from the big creatures that may attack or eat them while being their queen. She treats all of them like they're her children.
Back then, she struggled to adjust to the environment around her, always watching her surroundings and where she goes to avoid stepping on the little creatures, slipping and crashing onto buildings, etc. Now it's on instinct, naturally moving out of the way, staying in the woods or in open areas where she can interact with her people.
Back in the mines, of course, Lazuli appeared way different from how she looks now, it reminded Lazuli of her purpose, why she was created and things they all had to go through in the mines, she hated it all, however surprisingly, she sadly really missed the krans. Even if no one was close to her, she was still close to them.
BONUS: Lazuli and her ex met in the mines, they're also a kran but I don't think I'll make them into an oc and leave them as a background character for Laz's story unless I change my mind.
SIDE NOTES:
ngl I went all out on her design to make her look unique than the other krans because that's how I saw her wanting to be different like really wanting to be her own person and to be treated as such, and giving her freedom to change now she's on her own. Free to be who she wants to be and do anything she wants to do.
I was kinda worried that I might messed things up but turns out that I really like the outcome of this drawing, the lore and the design ! and makes me a bit eager to make more despite my lack of motivation nowadays. I'm a bit happy that it shows proof of how I've grown better at this too aaaaaaaaa- also fun fact, for her design I was inspired by a cute looking jellyfish and the story was from Princess Peach in that new mario movie / a comic where Rouge was the queen of the ugandan knuckles, I thought It should be funny.
I already have the full-body sketch so I was thinking of adding a translucent cape/skirt/dress thingy as a part of her design similar to the jellyfish because why not, she looks more beautiful in it :))
right now I'm so sleepy and forgetful so sorry that I don't remember much from the kran lore besides a vague desc / gist of it. too lazy to find and re-read the lore rn, might do it later when I'm not that sleepy
edit: I just wanted to also say that I could change anything from the design to the lore if I have an idea that I would like to bring to her character. And that's rn, I wanna think that she could fix her ship and travel to Cybertron so she can meet mine or others' ocs so I can link up their stories!
