Probably not funny to many but today is the day for it  ⚜  ⚜  ⚜  ⚜ Some shots form a fan translation of Stardust Crusaders that was going around some time back, I think it was on Mangadex. In which they made Polnareff swear in French-Canadian instead of France french. (The “ostie” being one of the classics)

So what? In the easiest way this can be put, imagine a character supposed to be the American of the group. But when he slips English in his sentences, it’s with a thick Scottish accent, calling Iggy a dobber or a lavvy heid and I don’t know what.

That’d be just kinda funny, right? It feels a bit like that with Polnareff saying these swearwords.

Like, another example, ponder on how you’d process that part 6 scene now:
