Mads Mikkelsen Ringtone!

This is the Mads Mikkelsen "Breakfast! Good Morning!" audio on tumblr

 ( After you have gotten the audio recording downloaded to your desktop you have to double-click the file to get it into your iTunes, it should start playing automatically in your iTunes)

This is how to get it for a ringtone:

Step 1 - Open and update iTunes ~ your iTunes needs to be updated to the latest version for this to work.

Step 2 - Select ringtone ~ click on the ringtone in your iTunes library ( It came up as Hannibal alarm for me) 

Step 3 - Insert start and stop times ~ right click on the song you want and select Get info, after that click the Options tab at the top of the window and insert the desired start and stop times in corresponding fields before checking the boxes directly to the left of both start time and stop time, click OK when done.

Step 4 - Create AAC version ~ right click the same song again and select create AAC version, a duplicate will appear under the original song in your iTunes Library.

Step 5 - Copy file and delete old one ~ click the new AAC file of the song you just made, drag and drop it to your desktop, afterwards right-click the AAC file in your iTunes library and select delete ( if the Delete button is not present click the Delete File button). Also this will not delete the file you just dragged and dropped.

Step 6 - Change the extension ~ navigate the song file you dragged and dropped on your desktop and single-click the files name and change the .M4a file to a .M4r file, click the Use .M4r or Yes button to confirm changes.

Step 7 - Add file to iTunes ~ double click the .M4r file or drag into iTunes source column to add to iTunes Library, The song will automatically be added to ringtones folder.

Step 8 - Sync your phone ~ Connect phone to iTunes, then click iPhone icon in upper left corner, select Tones section in left hand navigation bar, check bubble directly left of either All Tones or the Selected Tones option, then click grey Sync button in bottom right corner when finished.

Step 9 - Set the ringtone ~ Tap the Settings app on your iPhone home screen, Then Sounds>Ringtone afterward click the wanted ringtone (should be at the top of the list).

Now you can hear Mads when you get a Text, Call, Voicemail,Tweet, Email etc.  Have fun with it! This doesn't only apply to this particular audio post.

I do not think this works for Windows computers but we do know how to do it for Windows so if you are a PC owner and want to know the directions for the PC Also feel free to ask us for that too!
