I don’t know if you ever found a non-blurry version of it, but I thought I’d go ahead and upload these images from Vamp! IV anyway in case you never did. 

(I assume you meant the second picture, but technically our favorite terrible person Doubs is always a terrible person and included the first image as a failsafe).

Fannie Lou Hamer, voting rights activist and civil rights leader, was born on this date October 6, 1917. Hamer began her work as a civil rights activist after attending a protest meeting where she met civil rights activists who encouraged African Americans to register to vote. She became one of the few African Americans who made the decision to register and traveled with others to do so. Hamer worked for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, fighting racial segregation and injustices in the South. Although she faced many consequences, being beaten, threatened and arrested among them, Hamer’s spirit remained unbroken. She helped found the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party in 1964 and made history with her speech at a nationwide televised convention.

30 Nights of Vamp: Night 12 - Who is your least favourite character?

To be honest it takes a lot for me to actually dislike a character, usually the lowest I go is just 'disinterest' but too my surprise there is one character from this series that genuinely irks me and that character is Fannie Lou. Like many characters introduced in Volume IV Fannie just isn't all that interesting but the main reason I dislike him is because of the fact that he is centuries old but physically and psychologically still a child. This alone isn't that bad but Narita only uses this detail to make an incredibly creepy gag. Fannie is fixated on only feeding from young girls and acts really nervous around them, it seems appropriate at first since he is psychologically 10 but it is mentioned within the novel that this is incredibly creepy since he has lived for hundreds of years. And it's just like, was this really necessary? What was the purpose of the gag? What was the purpose of Fannie? Sure, he takes out a few enemy vampires but he doesn't do anything of actual importance. And that's why I dislike him. His only reason to exist in the story is to be the centre of an unnecessarily creepy joke, that the novel would be better off without.
