Okay so Naim and Ryan live a somewhat peaceful but abnormal life after leaving town. The move into a busy city and they're rarely apart.
Naim and Ryan bathe/shower together. It started as an idea from Ryan. But Naim absolutely loves it. The showers are not sexual but more of a winding down at the end of the day. It's tender and they take their time.
They both finish school (studying together) and get office jobs in the same huge building that has a bunch of employees. And their apartment is tiny mostly because it was cheaper but also because the entity has gotten more frequent. They both keep at least three lighters on them at all times just in case.
They have terrible nightmares after everything they have gone through and still go through. Naim dreams about his mom almost every night. And Ryan dreams that he is a teenager again and he is outed to the town.
They've both become light sleepers because they're constantly waking the other up because of their nightmares. But they are happy. As happy as two people being haunted by their pasts can be.
