Since I have no idea what I’m doing on tumblr, and there is not likely any chance @taylorswift will ever actually see this:: Here it goes! Back in 2010 when I was expecting my 3rd child, the pregnancy ended in a loss. I was devastated. I was torn apart but hanging on with the help of Fearless- the entire album but particularly Breathe and The Best Day. On repeat in the kitchen while I tried to return to life myself, for my daughters. My daughters, 3 & 4 yrs old had been hearing #Fearless at home and in the car on repeat forever and my 3 year old asked if Taylor Swift would come to her birthday party. So I threw myself into this 3rd birthday party and found a Taylor Swift impersonator out of Chicago who came to her party and did a whole set of our Favorite songs! We got lost in Taylor for a few hours and it was wonderful. *My girls were THRILLED they literally spent the next 5 years telling everyone that Taylor sang with them. The very next month in May i found out I was expecting a very special rainbow baby. 🌈 I was a scared and emotional wreck. When Speak now came out it was consistently on blast, I would sit and sing “Ours” to my belly and when my 3rd daughter was born it was a miracle! To hear the changes on RED as our girl was growing as a woman and an artist was magnificent! We were allll so proud of her and my girls would dance in the kitchen and sing Starlight, and Stay, Stay, Stay. We fell in love with a ginger named Ed. And when I heard The moment I knew I sat an sobbed for anyone who had ever felt this feeling, and especially for Taylor. Que in 1989 and this girl has raised my kids by now ok? I have video of my youngest Anabella singing “boys only want love if it’s torture” 😂 To this day, they know songs from all albums, especially reputation! From her actions, her kindness, her values as a woman, to court cases - everything she stands for is what I want to show them women can be. My husband of 13 years (whaaaaaa) KNOWS how much we love Tay. I wake up and the singles are popping up on my phone because he has already bought us REP on iTunes. We go to the car, CD is in there. He surprised us for Christmas with REP tour tickets! He secretly reposted, and shared so he could have the best opportunity to buy us 5 tickets that we could actually afford. He is the literal definition of King of my Heart. My girls followed along with the 13 updates and they are so excited about their tour costumes!! My mini Swifties have been waiting their Whole Lives to meet you,Taylor. And if not June 1st is STILL GOING TO BE THE BEEEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES!! I am so proud of you as a fan, as a mother, as a woman. We love you! @taylorswift @taylornation
