Hello. I hope you are feeling well today. I wanted to ask you about your Peaky Blinders fanfiction. How would the first meeting between Esther and Grace be?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot and I haven’t quite come up with anything yet.  I feel like it would have something to do after Tommy asked Grace to go to the races and she would make clear to Grace that Tommy is not for the taking.  Esther would probably not get along with Grace.  I’ve also debated Esther catches Grace going to the museum and meeting up with Campbell.   Thanks for the question! :)  What do you think? :)

How would Tommy propose to Genie ?

Ooooh goodness, I’ve never actually thought about this, but I think it would probably be a spur of the moment sort of thing. Gennie would probably be doing something so absentmindedly and Tom would just realise how incredibly in love with her he is and so just from the other side of the room, or from his seated position on a chair opposite her: “marry me.” “I beg your pardon.” “Little Gennie Lock from down the lane, marry me, be my wife.”  and I mean ofc she will be shocked and she will laugh and then she will realise he is dead serious and she’ll just smile. “okay.” tommy will lean back with a smirk. “okay.”

I chose this song because when Steve first comes out of the ice, everything feels very grey. In his mind, he was in the middle of a war only a few minutes ago, and now suddenly it’s 70 years later and everyone he knew has either died or lived a life without him; he’s feeling lost, like he doesn’t have a purpose anymore. And then Nikki shows up and changes everything. He might not have raised her but she’s his daughter and that gives him a sense of purpose again. She brings warmth back into his life and she’s so openly loving that he starts to feel like he has a place in this new world. Nikki makes things matter again and he knows that she will be the centre of his world for the rest of his life.

I chose this song because, while I also use it for Nikki and Peggy, that refers more to the feeling of Peggy growing old than Nikki growing up. With Steve, there’s a hyperawareness that by the time they meet, Nikki is already growing up. While they become close very fast, Steve knows that Nikki is approaching the years where she’s going to pull away and not need her dad the way that she would have when she was younger, and is very melancholic when thinking about all that he missed out on. As it happens, Nikki doesn’t go through any period where she doesn’t want her dad to be involved in her life - in fact, they just get closer over the years as they get to know each other, but there is always this sadness about all of the time that they missed out on.

She’s Gonna Shine, Kaci Brown - The light is falling on her shoulders/When did she get so tall/She's dancing on her own now/She used to be so small & And she's wishing for things I'll never be/Reaching for stars I'll never see/And she's not afraid to fall & Dreamer girl/She wants to have it all/She got some sunshine in her pocket/Go around the world/One day she's gonna fly/And as she waves good-bye/I won't be sad 'cuz in my heart I know the reason why & To me she is an angel/Spreading out her wings/I have to let her go now/It's time for other things

While no one would ever describe Nikki as tall (especially compared to Steve), this song always makes me think of them at the end of Civil War and Endgame. At the end of the airport fight in Civil War, both teams make sure that Nikki gets out and isn’t found by Ross, as her identity is still a secret and they all take that very seriously. And then at the end of the movie, although she’s mad at Tony (she doesn’t blame him but she wants her dad back), he repairs the shield and gives it to her - and Steve can only watch from a distance as she really comes into herself as Lady Liberty. And at the end of Endgame, Steve absolutely most definitely does not go back in time but he does step down as Captain America and give the shield (which Nikki gave back to him when she and Tony got back to Earth) to Sam. But he’s also recognizing that he has to step back and let Nikki follow her own dreams and fight her own battles, that he can’t fight all of her battles, and that he has to trust that she knows what she’s doing (and she does and he couldn’t be more proud of her)

Hello my friend! How are you ? Here in Italy is two or three days that is raining ☔....only today there was the sun. I wonder if the team Voltron is nostalgic of the seasons especially Ren and Ayleen since I think they treasure the season especially summer and winter

Hey there friend! Here it's been cold and deceptively sunny. You think it will be nice but then the cold hand of the icy wind smacks you in the face. Pow.You're right! Ren really likes Fall when all the leaves turn colors around the Edwards family cabin in the mountians and there's apples and cider and she could steal Shiro'd sweatshirts and buy him dorky sweaters that he would wear and embarrass Matt. They both like winter but Aileen really likes the family snowball fights and ice hockey with all her brothers and Ren, and Christmases together with the hickory wood in the fireplace and the old family dogs napping on the rug, and the smell of food from the kitchens. And even though her mother isn't there anymore on holidays it still feels like she is and Aileen wants it more than anything.

2 of them most likely will be!  My sister’s cat had kittens and I’m gonna take 2 of them...if everything works out.

Esther and Tommy for the Christmas meme!

who starts putting up decorations in october? Neither.  Esther waits until it’s November before putting up anything Christmas and she does it a little at a time to see if Tommy notices, but by the time it’s Christmas their home is a winter wonderland.

who buys the advent calendars? Polly gets them for the kids, so neither Tommy or Esther.

who places mistletoes all around the house? Esther tries to put it up.  Tommy mutters that they have people to do that for them, but then ends up taking it from her and putting it where she wants it.

who wraps the presents for other people? Neither, they have people to do that for them.

who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? Tommy, they make a little thing over putting the angel on the tree.

who’s the one that hates eggnog? Both of them hate plain eggnog, but they both will drink it with a lot of alcohol in it.

who’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? They have people to bake them for guests, but Esther will still drag Tommy into the kitchen and make a batch because it was their tradition when they were children.

who sends out the christmas cards? Esther makes them.  Tommy begrudgingly signs them and they have someone see that they make it in the mail.

who knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? Neither of them.  They prefer other Christmas carols.

who’s the better snowman builder? Certainly, Tommy was when they were kids.  He doesn’t do it on his own and must be dragged outside by Esther to do it...and even then he only helps because he thinks she isn’t doing things quite properly (which she is purposely messing up to get him to play with her)

who starts snowball fights?  When they were kids, Tommy.  He’ll do it occasionally as adults, depending on his mood, but it’s usually Esther trying to get him to lighten up a bit.

who’s the one that wakes the other on christmas morning by playing christmas songs really loudly? Neither.  Esther knows better than do to that to Tommy.  It’s more something she’d do on Christmas Even to get him to sleep, but then she’ll sing a song very quietly and gently stroke his hair until he’s asleep.
