blacksmith! an iron golem originally intended to handle some of the more dangerous parts of metalwork at the local forge, who was repeatedly tweaked and modified by their creator until they eventually became less of a generic factory-model worker and more of a weird adoptive apprentice. took over the business after their creator passed, and has been running it for as long as anyone in town can remember.
bsmith is a creature of very few words and very many gestures. they were not made with a voice, and have been attempting to create one for themselves, but it’s slow going. they keep little company and rarely, if ever, allow people into their workshop (although few people want to go in anyway, since it sits at a balmy 200, 250˚ in there). as of late, the shop has served double purpose as an artisan pizzeria. bsmith made their own oven and is very proud of it.
they’re more or less entirely made of molten iron, cooled down enough to be solid at the extremities, which makes them fairly malleable and capable of modifying their shape (retracting a pair of arms for more raw material, a temporary ‘mouth’, etc) within reason at short notice. bsmith weighs several tons and stands around eight feet tall. their shem is behind their face grate, well-protected and out of sight.
they like long walks on the beach, snacking on iron rebar, gardening, and trashy romance novels.
