Flying Sail Ships. I never really grow tired of these.

My dnd character Lottie and her future bf Farlie
Time for the Annual Year-End Gay Pirate OCs Picture! This time, I drew Shella and Lily's boat, the Sea Lilyth. It's conspicuously named after Lily herself, and the fact that just the two of them can manage a vessel alone, even of this size, does raise some eyebrows. This ship itself is quick as lightning and has a large number of hidey-holes for smuggling.

Inktober Day 3: Vessel
Christone sometimes rides on small sky vessels to release stress by feeling the wind in her hair.
This turning out better than I expected, but I with I could of done more.
Here’s the ship Pandora and her gang will travel on! This ship belongs to Jin and Ren who both stole it from the Red Empire navy and repurposed it for their own needs. It now serves as a temporary home for Pandora and her friends.
It can fly thanks to the nine “flying bells” attached to the bottom of the ship. The Flying Bells are a Red Empire invention that uses crystals that creating lifting force when heated. The crystals are bored into rods and then inserted into the cast iron bells along side other minerals and chemicals that create a seal off combustion. The flying bells have to be reserviced every few years in order to maintain a balanced lift and to restart the internal combustion of the bells.
The sails also have wind charms that allow it to move without wind though the charms have to be replaced the more you use them.
A bit more background for the ships: Flying ships are the invention of the Red Empire and thus the Red Empire has a monopoly on all flying ships using the Flying Bell method. Moth other nations or merchants rent out Red Empire produced flying ships and thus the Red Empire makes a revenue off of them and also creates secondary control over nations it has not conquered.
Red coloured flying ships are used solely by the Red Empire Military and Navy. Blue ships are used for merchants, Green for basic transport and Yellow for the Elite or pleasure cruisers.
This specific ship however is a stolen military ship that has been repainted by Jin and Ren to avoid detection. And because of that, they normally get their ship serviced in remote Red Empire outposts where their Wanted status isn’t as well known.
I still need a name for it...
I told my players that the first rule of D&D was never get on the boat. Of course I told them this halfway through the voyage. (Alan Hunter, Proteus magazine 3, IPC Magazines, 1985)
