And here's the 3rd concept from Michael's Miranda fantasy novel! Human empire archers concept. They are armored with vambraces, shin guards, and a chain mail hood that maximizes visibility for the wearer. A chainmail shirt under a gambeson, a surcoat over that emblazoned with the dragon sigil.
