Drawing of what the six most common fantasy races (According to Tv Tropes. com, with some minor adjustments) look like in Music box.
Or their equivalents at least.
-Orc: in music box they are actually not counted as an intelligent species. they are roughly on par with how we think about monkeys. there's also a lot of different species of orcs. They are smart... but not that smart.
-Elf: there are a few creatures that could be analogous to elves, such as the Fauth of o'ller and o'sten or the Elv (who are humans), but I chose to represent what I normally call my "Elves" that is the long-eared. They are actually related to Trolls and Giants, who in turn count Orcs as their common ancestor along with several other creatures.
-Dwarf: so my personal beef with fantasy dwarves aside. The Dwarves of Music box are a creature specific to the mountains of Julnier, other than looking like... well that, they are in line with stereotypical fantasy dwarves.
-Humans: humans are humans, but music box has a lot of weird variety. from the many or few eyed, Eyj, to the short statured Rim, to the sexually strange pointy eared Elv. to the big bodied Oger, to the more typical humans of the Eve, to the horned Fuan, to the strangely coloured Viker. I chose to depict a relatively normal looking Eve here.
-Halfling: or hobbit or half foot, or munchkin, or kinder or whatever other name is being used for them. These where not listed among the most common races on Tv Tropes, but I decided to include them anyways because well Tolkien. I could have drawn any number of short statured creatures to fill this role. for example I do have creatures named Halflings -sort of its a nickname- who are mouselings related to Dwarves, but I didn't want to do that. I could have drawn the Rim, but as I mentioned they are just human. So instead I chose to draw Knitt, who are a species of small troll. They are also descended from Orcs.
-Goblins: Finally there are goblins. Goblins are a kind of lesser fay. they can take on any number of appearances depending on their names. I'm not actually sure what kind of Goblin this one is specifically in might be some kind of Puck or Boggart, but I'm not certain off the top of my head.
