The cursed face. Thanoreth's helmet-like mask is made from Thibra, aluminium foil and scraps of Worbla. The teeth are long mother-of-pearl beads that I thrifted years ago. I made the costume when I had to commute to work by train for two hours daily. All the beads and silk cords were hand-sewn to the costume during those train rides. For this shoot, I did a little VFX Makeup experiment, which you barely see beneath the mask, but it makes the bits of the face that stick out less human.
