This is definitely fantasy inspired so no historical reference, but it's just a big circle with holes for a belt to provide a little bit of shaping.

I made it so I can decorate with a brooch if I choose :D

Its too hot to be wearing a wool cloak but I will regardless cuz i feel cool af 😎

The last two months have been super eventful. Really happy I got to go to the Ren faire twice this year but forgot to take a good pic the first time

Finished my renaissance hair accessory! I still have a lot of playing to do with the actual hairstyle but overall I think it came out really cute! I think I will eventually make a gold one that way I'll have one to match both gold and silver jewlery but that'll have to be after the rest of the costume gets finished.
