Someone tell me not to buy my plane tickets to Dragon*Con right now because they're on sale for $99 each way via Southwest and that's cheaper AND less tedious for me than driving.

AND my San Diego plane tickets dropped $36 in price so that's a credit I'm going to use towards FantasyCon since those are easily the most expensive plane tickets out of the three domestic flights I plan on taking this year.

My tickets came in the mail today!

GOT EVERYTHING SETTLED AND GOT VIP PASSES TO FANTASYCON!

There was a glitch in the system that prevented EVERYONE from buying VIP tickets.

Bought those tickets and called the ticket people (you were right, vanaethiriel, Linda was awesome!) and they refunded the initial 3-Day GA purchase so I get that $66 back.

Can't wait till July!

I swear to God, wtf is it with Conventions and their poor ticketing systems?

The Salt Lake City FantasyCon ticketing system wouldn't let me even access the ticketing page for VIP or 3Day GA through their website and it kept saying the offer wasn't valid. 30 minutes later, I go to search it on the event page through the purchasing site and THEN I see the VIP and 3Day options AFTER I click through to the event page for a SINGLE DAY TICKET!

I go through the captcha and everything, no VIP to be found.

Try again and it's the same thing.

Try with 3-Day GA and that's a success so I buy that in case it sells out.

But I went back through to try again just in case they fixed it on the main site and it was still a no go so I screencapped everything and then sent them a message.

Shit is just frustrating because how would you know to click a single day option in order to go to special offers to purchase the 3-Day GA OR VIP.

And how would that help when you couldn't even get to that part of the page to begin with?
