How would you write Jason and Percy in a relationship with each other

I wouldn’t

Okay but how I would do it would be that he and Annabeth were never together to start. And as the quest goes on he and Jason slowly grow closer. It’s a thing built in the struggles of the story, it’s a relationship that grows and is filled with pain as things get worse.

It’s a relationship that at the end of HOO has a moment quite like Percabeth at the end of TLO. Jason and Percy get together at the end and while there’s a rough period where they figure themselves out in peace time, they figure things out.

Percy was forced to grow up a lot during the period of war and has learned a lot about leadership and delegating tasks. He’s had trust broken and earned back and has been forced to make impossible decisions. He fought a war expecting to die and aching because of it. He’s cynical but also holds out hope for the best and is still loyal to a fault. He’s determined and willing to do what’s necessary, but also will do everything he can to save those he loves.

Jason was raised for some time by wolves, and then trained in the military. He doesn’t know how to function in a normal day to day setting but does know how to lead an army. He knows vaguely how the world works, but not really the people or peace time things. He’s an army kid, raised his whole life to be a leader, and it’s led to a disconnect in other ways of growing, most noticeably socially.

Percy has grown so much emotionally, in large part due to all the trauma he’s had to work through. He’s been through a lot and tends to repress some of his emotions in order to function because there’s so much going on. At this point in time he’s finally getting a break and allowing himself to feel properly and to deal with the emotions healthily which is good. His anger gets the best of him for the most part and it is primarily centered around those he cares for. In general he has a good amount of control of his emotions but when he loses control he does lose control. But he is able to handle his emotions and understand others in a mostly healthy way, as long as they’re not positive towards him because he isn’t used to others having positive feelings towards him and doesn’t understand it.

Jason is a wreck emotionally in the way that he just doesn’t really deal with them. He’s been raised to be a leader, able to take charge, ignore his personal feelings, put the good of the people first. He has not had a chance to explore his feelings or learn how to handle them beyond putting them aside.

Overall,

Percy might have trauma but he is mostly trying to work with it. Jason doesn’t know how to handle other’s emotions so much and the most he can do is try to relate. He needs to figure himself out before getting with someone else.

Emma is the definite OTP for Regina, I just love them and their co-parenting of Henry and the development of their relationship over the series. *^*

But I also really like the Maleficent/Regina later on. The viiibes and the mentor/mentee when they started out.

And definitely Regina/Tinkerbell I mean dang that really had strooong vibes.

I think that Regina/Robin had potential but... honestly, the show was very lackluster on that, compared to others. With the whole Marian-no-actually-Zelina and uh how that played out for the end... I wish Regina had gotten a True Love the way literally everybody else on the show got... she’d have deserved it, I think it could have been Robin, but they really didn’t want her happy...

How I feel about this character:

Honestly quite conflicted? On the one hand, I love him a lot, but on the other hand... he is his own worst enemy and quite frankly also Camelot’s and magic’s worst enemy like if that boy would actually WORK toward easing Arthur into magic. But the way he, a sorcerer, actively turns against his fellow sorcerers in need at... a lot... of opportunities while coming from a high place of privileg, by being able to just hide it and literally live in the castle... I am conflicted about him, but that is also kind of the appeal of him? He is not a 100% white (not skin color; he is very much the whitest white boy to ever white) good guy character, he makes a lot of shady and bad calls and is a complex character with a very complex moral structure; it makes for an interesting story.

Gwen, because like seriously seasons 1 and 2 were really setting those two up so sweetly?? That they were never, at no point, actually canon (even if just temporarily) is still a shame I think

Uuuh I can try it. But, do let me highlight the fact that I’ve known that bitch for what amounts for like 5 episodes now. So if there is like some Big Deep Secret Reveal that shows he is not actually that bitch and is like some broken misunderstood hero-type who had to murder his parents to like save the world or whatever tf - I have not reached it. (This sounds weirdly specific, but considering the scary murder child Gaara is actually just being controlled by the evil Sandshrew possessing him, I genuinely do not know anymore.)

How I feel about this character:

He’s a bitch. He keeps trying to kill my Sasuke. That’s not okay. Also tries murdering Sasuke’s Naruto. Which is also very not okay and leads to even more trying to murder Sasuke, because good gods Sasuke really has a “must protect Naruto” radar built in??

Little bitch needs to stop trying to kill Sasuke and Naruto. It’s not like those two don’t have enough to angst about like seriously--ALSO WHAT IS GOING ON WITH HIS FACE???

No, but seriously. I do not understand what the two thick lines in his face are supposed to be. Are they... scars? Are they wrinkles? Did he slip with his eyeliner?? Are they whatever the fuck is going on on Naruto’s face which also seriously same question why does he just have three lines drawn on his cheek what is that?

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

Uuuuh stop killing Sasuke? That’s a good thing I’d like to happen in canon! Definitely stop Sasuke. I dunno if I need him to necessarily die for that (he does seem the very persistent villain type who will Literally Not Stop unless you kill him, but also, again, I do not know if he is also possessed by an evil Pokémon. Ninetails and Sandshrew are taken but there are still 149 other of the original Pokémon that he could be possessed by, in which case we would need an exorcism and therapy instead of murder. But whether he is all evil or gray after all, he definitely needs to stop trying to murder Sasuke).

SUPERMAN. Clark Kent is my favorite superhero, period. No one else holds a candle, definitely not Bruce. Which, sorry Bruce, but... He comes with his Rogues gallery and I hate the Batman Rogues. So much. They suck. So badly.

As many 90s kids, I grew up on 80s music so there is a certain level of attachment and nostalgia to much of it - music I may have never actually listened to otherwise. So, definitely 80s.
