I've mostly gotten over the hill of "worldbuilding as a means of procrastinating the writing of the story," but now I'm in a spot where A: I don't know where to currently go with where I'm at and B: I don't want to just worldbuild for the sake of it just to write something. Maybe I should just keep going, even if I know what I'm writing is crap? I've never been the best judge of the quality of my own work, but I've been going at this with the mindset of "if I'm bored writing it, then they'll be bored reading it." I just don't know. I went to writing fanfiction to keep doing something while I tried to come up with what's next for my original work, but now I'm at the same spot with the fanfiction. Writing sucks, but I can't not think of that one quote who I cannot for the life of remember who said: "The only thing more miserable than creating is not creating." Is that a bad mindset? I have no clue.
