hi, sorry for the random ask but could you explain HoneyWork's character stories to me?

i'd love to! is there any character in particular you'd like to know more about?

there are two series, the confession series and the idol series

the confession series is your typical shoujo slice of life school stories, and the idol series are, well, about idols. some of the characters intersect those two but they're mostly differentiated

in the confession series there's natsuki and yuu (confession rehearsal), mochita and akari (a solution to jealousy), miou and haruki (the picture book of first love), sena and midori (friday's good morning), koyuki (confession rival declaration), hina (right now, i'm falling in love with you), kotarou (it should have been hate), arisa (assertion of the heart), ken (mean encounter), karen (o maidens), chisa (ugly creatures), saku (a teacher, detained), chiaki (can you hear me?) and ryou (love fulfillment). there are few others whose mvs aren't out yet, like koudai and juuri and some extra ones, like sena and mona's parents (mister darling)

i listed one song per character but most of them have sequel songs so if you're curious about any of them just hmu! and almost all of them appear in blooming with the color of love in case you prefer watching one single video and then decide which character to know more about

the idol series has the units LIPxLIP, with aizou and yuujirou (romeo), hiyori, LIPxLIP's manager (heroine training plan, an intersecting character with the love series), mona (i, idol declaration), ASCANA, with asuka and kanata (the weakling's world conquest), Dolce, with fuuma, kazuki, sara, kippei and girisha (baby baby), Full Throttle 4, with YUI, RIO, MEGU, DAI and their manager IV (GOODBYE) and minami and nakuru (bae love). and since it is an idol series, there are also a couple of characters who are idol fans, like kobayashi, a mona fan (monday's melancholy) and chuu-tan, a LIPxLIP fan (a fan's job)

most of the idols cameo in certainly the best!, except minami, nakuru and all dolce members minus fuuma aslkdmflskf

Yes I’m alright, and my family is alright too! I was panicking yesterday though, and I couldn’t sleep until we blocked the doors with furniture and stuff. I rarely use Twitter, but I was checking it all day yesterday for news cause our national TV is absolutely useless when it comes to my state, I swear.

The army came yesterday around 7pm so things should get calmer, though we’re still being careful. But it seems people are going out to work again, walking their dogs and going out to buy bread, you know, the normal - at least here in my region. I heard other cities still need a lot of help though.

Could you pleeeease do a tutorial on the sunset style light that you did on the pjo car screenshot? :)

Sure!! It’s all in the use of Add (Glow) layers and proper placement of saturated colors.

Here’s the pic with only base colors used:

We mark the shadows with Multiply layers (airbrush the edges into a more saturated color to make it glowy):

Then, we add the Add (Glow) layers to stand for intense sunlight:

Annnd then airbrush lighted parts of the lineart with a saturated red/orange to maximize the glow and add an orange-filled layer set to Lighten on top of it all:

Love Interest was the first thing in my mind because i think you're a cute person, but for the way you develope your artwork and you plan your stuff, I guess you'd be the kind of Side Character that's got important stuff going in the background, sorta like Nico DiAngelo, but with lots of less angst and more handmade sketches of things??

This is funny because in group situations i do this exact thing because i’m terrible at groupwork, particularly while people are stuck in argument. (ie: while you guys have been arguing over what color the poster is gonna be, i’ve solved literally every math problem we’ve got to glue on it. now i’m going to take a nap)

Hmmm...hoy fue un día directamente fome onda no hice nada (?), desperté a eso de las 9, desayune, hice un poco deporte, almuerzo, tuve una maratón de películas de Studio Ghibli y Madhouse mientras hablaba con unas amigas por wtssp, fui a la piscina de la terraza del edificio a tomar algo de sol (porque lo necesito), comí piña (?), seguí con las pelis, tome el té y...bueno, aquí estamos?
