@fantomeux: do you use narrative text differently between muses, or does your writing stay the same style for everybody ? | PORTRAYAL MEME ! IF YOU READ MY THREADS , which i’m not expecting anyone to obvly, i try to use a distinct narrative text for everyone ? this varies because of age , like for my child muses i try to inhibit a more ??? childish worldview and to let that pervade my writing, or by fandom . dialogue aside i try to let the narrative text do most of the talking as well, in setting the scene. for example , with persephone i’m always drawn to describing the world around her in terms of fruit and making metaphors out of that . or with muses that have more formal , aristocratic backgrounds purple prose gets to me lol . . . it sounds complicated but it’s more of like when i write the character i try to picture what they would say but also how the world of their canon would be translated into my prose and i let that influence my writing style to come up with a reply i’m satisfied with ! I’M NOT SURE if it’s noticeable tbh but that’s how it works in my head !
