How I Make Fantrolls

I decided to post the guide/sheet I use to make my Fantrolls. I use this every time I make a Fantroll cause it helps get the most information. I wanted to post a blank version of it so others could use it.

There's probably more stuff I need to add to it or should add to it and if you have any suggestions about that feel free to tell me. I also added some little notes & links in there that I thought would help.

I wont put this under read more cause I don't wanna exclude mobile users from seeing it so warning this is gonna be a long ass post.

The Don-

8:What are some of your OCs strengths?

His mind. Boy howdy is this one sinister, slick, silver tongued and intilligent Highblood. While some highbloods bash their way through problems, The Don prefers stratagy, escape plans, plots and devious tricks. Outwitting him is incredibly difficult, and well advised against.

9:What are some of your OCs weaknesses?

Paper work. Srsly.. He hates i. It’s why he has a right hand that handles it all.. On a more physical note however, he is not a brutal fighter. He’s oddly not very powerful even for being a highblood. He’s about average in strength for his size, but nothing more. Making him.. oddly rather frail and meek. This carrys through the entirety of his particular blood line.

His lack of work with the Subjuggalo Cult also has a negative impact on his chucklevoodoos. Primarily in the fact that it can only cause severe hallucinations and can’t physically harm a troll unless they are suseptible to such things. The Don’s, and basicly any highblood of his blood line, have a unique property of their chucklevoodoos that invoke hallucinations based on the targets ‘greatest fear’. But it’s all it can do, Hallucinations. Though sometimes, many times, this is always enough to get the upper hand.

Also, his entire blood line suffer from a genetic mutation in their eyes. Causing them to have complete monochromatic colorblindness from hatching. No known ways of medicine have been able to correct this.

13:What is your OCs earliest memory?

Earliest… he can’t always recal. He remembers the days of his youth, carefree days where he hung out with friends of any blood color.. He had a good life on Alternia, enjoyed it.. longs for it. However his more ringing memory of the ‘early’ years was well into his induction as Godfather of the Peacock Mafia.. the day he lost his Moirail and begun the Blood Fued between the Peacock Mafia and the Subjuggalo Cult..

15:What makes your OC angry?

More of a question of what does NOT make him angry. Classy and suave. Yes. A wrecking ball of rage if you so much as dissapoint him? No.. A gentleman who will not hesitate to impale your head on a pike while looking completly calm and gentlemanly about it? DEFINATLY.

Don can get angry, really fast, but where it tricks folks is you don’t KNOW if he’s angry. He always has a calm disspossiton and the most you’ll get is him looking ‘dissapinted’. But you can never tell if he’s simply annoyed with you, or if you’re 2 seconds from being disembowled.

34: Is your OC religious?

HELLS TO THE NOPE. He DESPISES the Subjuggalo Cult. He sees them as drooling, imbicilic, lumbering oafs who can’t find the pointed end of a knife. In his words… ‘The Cult is full of overly radical cretins who blind themselves with religion instead of doing their job.. And they wonder why the Empress calls on my Mafia to do a majority of the work THEY muck up. Pathetic.’

41: What is your OCs motto about life?

“No state, no government exists…. What does in fact exist is a troll, or a few trolls, in power over many other trolls blind to the truth.”

9: What are some of your OCs weaknesses?

Workaholic. He will literaly work himself into the ground because it’s all he cares about. He’s so honor driven on his own work ethic that it will no doubt be the end of him in the long run. He has no moirail to reign him in, as he doesn’t acknowledge relationships as being worthwhile when there’s work to do..

Napolean Complex, this ties in with the above. He sees himself better than others, and doesn’t beleive that there is anyone that can be as high caliber to his standards… He’s a jerk.

He’s also rather weak physically.. but he’s agile and one hell of a cook.

16: When is your OCs favorite time of year?

Summer Equinox, warm weather. Even at night, clear skies, perfect for fishing and grilling outdoors. Lets him open up the side balcony of his hive for his restaurant to have hibachi grills going for folks who come to eat. Also his favorite fish migrates to his waters…

17: How long can your OC hold their breath?

HE’S A MOTHAEFFIN’ SEADWELLER. HE BREATHES DAT WATER. BREATHS IT ALL UP. ouo

Not at all. Stiff as a fuckin’ board. It’s from the constant work and no rest. Keeps him wound up.

He’s only 6 sweeps old you sick **** BU. Actually jk.. I have no idea..

Is there any place where we can read a detailed history or bio of your fantrolls? I'd love to learn more about Rioard's past and personality. He seems to have AMAZING potential as a deep character.

I haven’t completely written out their history as of yet (BUT I PLAN TO, they are both WIPs). On their blog, I placed ‘About’ pages for a brief overview of their basic things and their personality. I hope to fully flesh out their history with a bit more time.A great deal of what they go through can/will/may be expressed in asks as well if the questions lead them in that topic of discussion.

I even have several ‘possible’ endings for them both. But none of them are very ‘good’? Most end in death, grimdark or more death. Lots of death. Because I’m a cruel mun.

Omg I'm gonna cry thank you for asking so many questions about my babies ILU SO MUCH. I'm mostly going to answer these with humanstuck because that's what we're rolling with lately, but if anyone wants to hear about troll versions, then go ahead and ask specifically about those!

50: Does your OC cry easily?

None of them do, really! In both humanstuck and trollverse, Ceitus hasn't cried since he was a little kid, and Xirran rarely if ever cries. Carina is probably the one who cries the easiest out of all three of them, but I wouldn't call her a crybaby or anything like that! She's just a little more in touch with her emotions.

51: What is your OCs favorite genre of music?

Answering for humanstuck! Xirran likes metal, rock, and dubstep -- basically anything you can headbang to, she'll have a blast with. Ceitus doesn't really listen to much music besides the radio, so he mostly just likes the popular radio hits. Carina is a big fan of classical and instrumental music, although she likes to sing too.

52: How does your OC feel about insects?

Humanstuck: Xirran loves them, she'll investigate them all she wants and won't be squicked out by them in the slightest. She definitely Ceitus will easily kill a spider, he's not bothered by bugs but he doesn't really care for them either. Carina doesn't like bugs.

53: What is your OCs sexual orientation?

Carina is a lesbian (which is problematic considering she is Muslim and her family is very religious, oops). Xirran doesn't give a shit about gender or sexuality, so she's basically pansexual. Ceitus is mostly straight, but he can't deny that he is at least sexually attracted to Izaiah, which makes for an interesting friends/rivals-with-benefits kind of thing when he's having a crisis over his sexuality.

54: Does your OC smoke?

None of them do, actually!

55: What gender is your OC?

Carina is female, Ceitus is male, and Xirran will identify as female but she has gotten mistaken for male before, and she'll go along with the assumption. She is a fan of genderfuckery, and I can definitely see her presenting as male if the urge struck her.

56: What kind of clothes does your OC wear?

I think I'm gonna answer with a link for this one. so you can see for yourself!

57: Would you call your OC adventurous?

Adventure is Xirran's middle name, and that's not an understatement in the slightest. I wouldn't really call Ceitus too adventurous, now that I'm thinking about it, if only because he sticks to what he knows he likes and he cares too much about what other people think of him to really deviate from the norm. The exception to that would be his thing with Izaiah. Carina's not terribly adventurous either, actually, but I wouldn't call her boring either!

58: Is your OC introverted or extroverted?

Xirran is defs an extrovert, while Carina and Ceitus are more introverted! Ceitus can have his moments of extroversion, though.

59: What is the first thing that someone would notice about your OC?

Hmmmmmm. This is actually a really hard question for more to answer, honestly! I guess the first thing someone would notice about Xirran is her gung-ho attitude about life at large, and her ballsy, take-charge attitude. The first thing you'd notice about Ceitus is his connection to Kouvia, his best friend since childhood and the girl he's in love with. Because ugh don't even get me started on my feels about these two, they are literally perfect for each other, and a universal constant. But he is incredibly devoted to her and will put her feelings before his any time. It's the reason why he's never brought up his feelings for her, because he cares too much about her and wants her to be happy first and foremost, and if she just wants to be friends, he's not going to say anything that would change that. And the first thing you'd notice about Carina is her willingness to help others -- she's a sweetheart and tries to help others with their problems. Mostly because she can't do much to fix her own personal problems, both health-wise and relationship-wise, so she tries to fix others as compensation.

60: Does your OC enjoy nature?

Xirran would live outside if she could. The great outdoors is her second home, she loves nature like no one else. Ceitus's favorite kind of nature is the ocean/pool/water in general, he enjoys that for sure. Carina doesn't spend much time outdoors, but she appreciates the aesthetic qualities of nature!

6: Does your OC have any supernatural powers?

None of them do, no! I have a greenblood, a seadweller, and a jadeblood -- although the jadeblood is a rainbow drinker, although I wouldn't call that supernatural because all jadebloods have biologically evolved into rainbow drinkers, according to Porrim and Kanaya's conversations!

Kounna: Do they sing or play any musical instruments, even if just for fun? How well?

He plays the biwa! Also storytells to music. He’s rather good at it and entertains guests at his bath house yeah

Siloli: Do they eat a healthy diet? A varied one?

She tends to eat whatever koanda puts out, otherwise she wouldn’t eat. Usually it’s desert meats, various edible desert plants, and on occasion greenhouse grown goodies.

Lucene: What kind of clothing do they like to wear, and what do they wear most often?

She likes to wear warm clothes but doesn’t quite like furs dsfs.. In warmer climates, the less shes wearing, the better.

Koanda: What makes them feel safe or secure? What makes them feel insecure or unsafe?

She likes smaller enclosed area, with a lot of windows. A blanket around her usually is the best thing. Large, open and crowded places make her freak tho.

Toucan troll: What kind of clothing do they like to wear, and what do they wear most often?

Tank/Tube tops and shorts, something easy to move around in and something that won’t get caught in her grapple hooks. She likes to wear dresses a lot too but she doesn’t really ever get to wear them so they’re just„, moth eaten.

Aerhar: What makes them feel safe or secure? What makes them feel insecure or unsafe?

With him, the best thing to make him feel safe is a lap seat with arms around him. Warmth. He also ofc likes being high in the air! He feels unsafe in the ocean, oddly enough, and gets pretty nervous around mountains. Wild/untamed areas make him feel unsafe too, he’s more a city troll.

Capybeara troll: As a child, what did they want to be when they grew up? Did they realize their dream?

He wanted to be strong, and he achieved that physically but„, hes still a big ole softy and  he’s slightly weak minded… so… half way there maybe?

Bosija: What kind of weather makes them happy, and what kind makes them sad?

She loves bright sunny days that she can go out and explore and play outside in! Weather where she can’t go outside is the stuff that bums her out, but she mostly likes all weather sooo…

Godiva: What languages do they speak? Do they have and idiosyncrasies or identifiable patterns of speech, word usage, etc?

Is this pretty much asking for… quirks„, Uh she can speak celtic and welsh thanks to her lusus. Other than that I don’t have her quirk done so :o)
