Control and Uncontrolled || faora-daughter-of-krypton
Raven was indeed a beautiful woman, while Faora was still new to these Earthly customs, the only thing that all types of species have in common is that they cannot keep their hands off on beautiful things; she was no stranger to such thing as well, often enough, these men would find themselves with a broken bone or two. She could have done more damage, she wanted to but she knew that she couldn’t unless she wants to risk of being thrown into prison or hear another lecture from Superman—again.
The former sub-commander growled and her knuckles started to turn white at the sight of a man who attempted to flirt with her girlfriend. The people around her immediately sense her anger and took a couple of steps away from her, their eyes widened when they saw the glass in her hand shattered in her hand, leaving no trace of blood or any type of injury she could have sustain.
The man behind the counter slowly, but with a lot of bravery, took a couple of step in front of Faora and said to her that she has to buy him a new glass of cup or risk of never returning to this bar ever again. Before the man can say anything else, he lets out a girlish squeal when Faora’s eyes was starting to turn red and he can feel the heat from it too.
She would have blast him through the building if it weren’t for Raven’s words echoing in her mind.
“Do not become a slave to your powers. Take control.”
Once she rubbed her eyes and her eyes returned to its normal color, she suddenly felt the air shifting and she turned around to see Raven standing next to her, holding onto her arm tightly with a small smile on her face.
“Jealous?” she commented with a glint in her eyes.
Faora glanced back at the man who was rubbing his stinging cheek while his friends all laughed at him, the man would have glared darkly at the empath if it weren’t for Faora and her own piercing gaze. The man flinched at the sight and immediately ushered out of the building, leaving behind his laughing friends and a satisfied alien.
“Hardly,” she murmured with a smirk, wrapping her arm around Raven’s waist and held her closely throughout the night.
The empath drummed her fingers against her arm, looking at the time on her phone while leaning against the concrete wall and stared blankly at the sight in front of her. Despite the fact that her expression was stoic, her emotions betrayed her face, deep inside she felt her heart was raging at the sight. If any of her friends were here right now, they would have teased her and told her that she was jealous.
The thought of it would have made her laugh in the past, but even she cannot deny this emotion right now. She stopped drumming her fingers and dug her nails deep into her arm, the jealously in her arms were starting to become noticeable and some of her classmates that’s passing by threw a worry look at her direction, never seeing the young woman in this kind of state before. She was usually calm and collected and she usually gives out a peaceful advice.
Now it looks like she was going to kill someone.
This was supposed to be a nice and happy day, Faora was suppose to pick her up from class and then they would have a nice little lunch together—not having a tramp flirting with her lover!
‘Control, control, control,’ she repeated the words in her mind as if it was a mantra, closing her eyes tightly and was taking a couple of deep breaths. But when she opened her eyes, all of her morals were thrown out of the window when she saw Faora and the other looking a bit too cozy with each other. ‘Oh hell no, I can’t take this anymore.’ She added, quickly stalking up to them.
Before anyone could react, Raven’s fist went flying towards the redhead’s face and the girl immediately fell down onto the floor, face first. Sensing that the situation will worsen, Faora picked up Raven and threw her over her shoulder before taking off into a sprint while trying to ignore her yelling and kicking feet.
“I saw that! I saw what you were trying to do! She’s mine! You hear me, you… bitch!”
Once they were far from the area and stood somewhere where no one can see them, Raven finally calmed down and regretted what she said, wondering if she can go back to the girl and apologized for her actions. She had her head down the entire time as she rambled on and on until Faora lifted her chin up. The empath expected to see a disappointed look in her face, instead, all she got was a smirking Kryptonian who stared at her with amusement.
“Jealous?” she asked her in a teasing tone. “Who has control now?”
“Just… shut up, please,” Raven murmured, narrowing her eyes at her.
“I will,” Faora said with a laugh, sealing her lips over on Raven’s.
