Dear Lamees,
How has life been treating you? I hope you and your family have been well! In this letter, I wrote about some random things I remember and appreciate about you! Recalling everything and writing them out is kind of therapeutic in a way. It helps me find some sort of closure to our college days, seeing as how abrupt and strange it ended because of COVID-19. I did hope I could write this letter by hand and give it to you in person, but seeing how things are going, I’m not sure if we’ll have a graduation party any time soon. Nevertheless, I hope we get to meet sometime in the future and see how we’ve grown as people!
My very first memory of you:
My first memory of you was probably during our first major year, when you used to have a Pikachu keychain on your bag. I found it extremely cute and had to ask whether you watched the shows or played the games.
Something that reminds me of you:
Other than Pikachu, I associate you with cute hamsters and interesting books. I remember how you’d often spend time reading outside classes, and I’d come up and check out what you’ve got whenever it’s something new. Not surprisingly, I also associate you with the actress Ruby Rose because of how much you like her haha.
A song that I think you’d like:
I don’t know what kind of songs you listen to, but I do know that you enjoyed French a lot, so maybe this: link
A shower of gratitude:
Thank you so much for voting for my design back when I asked you to! It helped me win a trip to the annual book fair, and it was my first time going! It wouldn’t have happened without you, serious. Also, thank you for blessing me with videos of your hamsters. They were so adorable and made me smile.
One deep dark secret that you don’t know about:
I really wanted to get to know you better, but I’m not sure why it just never happened. Too bad we never got to watch a movie together either.
Though it has been short, thank you for everything during these past years! May your future be filled with happiness, success, and good health. With lots of love, Areej Aldosary
