So I've installed the new fixes by @spockthewok in my game, and it's incredible!
I am so happy to play my game with large view distance on, it looks so much better, especially in Belladonna Cove 😍 I even upgraded my lighting mod to Cinemas secrets.
And now there's even a fix for the object limit. You mean to tell me that I can download all the cool clutter and cc, and not worry about my game blowing up? 🤯 I feel like it's gonna take a while for me to rewire my brain on this!
But also, with the uberhood, I was worried it might become unplayable after increasing the population too much, but apparently we don't need to worry about that anymore 🤩
This feels like a full-on technological revolution over here 😆
I guess it's time to get re-obsessed with my game. Not that my obsession ever fully went away, but you know 🤭
A small preview of my Belladonna Cove makeover. 🗽

Strangetown - Intro Round Smith; PT#9, Jenny, Johnny, Jill
As to be expected, the intro round for the Smiths was incredibly laid back and wholesome.
Okay Jenny. Body tea. (One thing about Jenny is that literally every pre-made she met had high chemistry with her. She's universally a milf.)
The Smiths went out for family lunch at the diner but for some reason got seated separately?
Then the went home and spent the rest of the day outside enjoying the pool.
Jill also went on a self love journey, apparently.
And Johnny asked Ophelia out on a date back to the same (and only) diner in town. This was the only time I've seen the 'ask for permission to go out' interaction work. Jenny's hot and chill.
After rolling the want three times, back at home PT#9 finally adopted a family dog. Meet Cooper! Jill loves him.
We end off the round will Jenny throwing up. Which I'm sure is the first time of many.
Komei is not, by nature, a man prone to nerves, but tonight is different. He steps to the bar and orders himself a small glass of whiskey, turning it once in his hand before downing it in a single, decisive swallow. The burn steadies him, settles something restless in his chest. Then he waits.
When Jodie arrives, she is not difficult to spot. Komei straightens, crossing the floor to meet her and offering his hand, wasting little time leading her into the next dance. Though neither of them are particularly talented dancers, they move well enough together, in quiet understanding of the other’s rhythm.
When the song ends, they do not part immediately, Komei instead guiding her just beyond the busiest part of the floor. For a moment, he says nothing; then, gathering what courage remains (either from the whiskey or something deeper) he speaks.
“I have come to care for you,” he begins. “More than is wise, perhaps. More than I had intended. But I would rather be honest than silent. If you would have me,” he says, “I would ask you to be my wife.”
Jodie’s breath catches not in hesitation, but in something closer to relief.
“Yes,” she says, almost at once. “Yes, I would.”
There is a quiet, selfish sort of happiness in it, to be chosen for love alone. No financial arrangement, not for obligation, none of the uncertain reasoning that seems to guide her twin’s own impending marriage to Angela Pleasant. Whatever that union may be built upon, this feels different; this feels entirely her own.
Later, when the lanterns dim and the crowd thins, Komei leads Jodie outside to where his horse waits, offering her a steady hand as she climbs up behind him, the road to his cabin stretching ahead beneath the stars.
By morning, they sit side by side at his rough table, still in their underclothes, plates of salt pork and eggs before them. For a moment, Komei recognizes the simple domesticity that awaits him for the rest of his life, and he has never been more grateful for his tendency for impulsivity – even if it means a fight at the Trading Post every once in a while.
