I have been trying to convert for about a year, which has been hard because I live about three hours away from the nearest synagogue and I don't know who to contact, and now there's covid and I don't have a car anyways. any advice?

Hope this is okay to ask, but I'm interested in converting to conservative judaism. However there are no conservative synagoges or congregations in my city. There's a reform synagoge and while i agree with most of what reform judaism stands for I think I still prefer to convert to conservative judaism. Can one convert to conservative in a reform synagoge? Or could one who converts to reform live as a conservative jew? Is that something that happens? Or did i misunderstand how it works? Thank you
Mod here. Based on this context, I’m going to infer a FOR of Conservative. Could someone convert and live Jewishly according to Conservative Judaism with only a Reform synagogue locally?
how can I convert if the closest synagogue is 500 km away? would conversion - up to some extent - be possible if I contacted a rabbi and it happened by distance? for: any
Mod here. I think specifying FORs, particularly those that are experience-based (e.g. conversion student, moved to convert, Jewish & live somewhere with a low-density of other Jews) might be helpful for anon in piecing together answers and advice.
Hi, I have a "can I?" Question, FOR reform. I'm zera yisrael, my dad is jewish, mom's a Christian, raised as neither. I've been considering conversion for years, and studying everything I'm able, and have determined reform speaks most to me. However, I'm currently hours from the closest reform synagogue, and I can't get there yet. My question is: is it alright for me to stream synagogue services? I just want to watch and hear, observe only. But I don't want to do that if that's not ok. Thanks!
I've been wanting to convert to judaism but there's a lot I don't know about, I'm searching, studying the aspects of it and everything but even if I wanted to convert the closest synagogue is about 600 more or less from where I live

I'm a Jewish convert in progress but I'm moving abroad to a country with a low jewish population so I was wondering if itd be okay to buy jewish stuff like a menorah, 2 years worth of hannukah candles, or a dreidel (only hannukah things coming to mind rn bc of how close it is rn lol) or other jewish stuff now, but not use it until my new rabbi in that country says it's okay to? I wouldnt buy mezuzot or anything big like that though I'd definitely wait for that lol, thank you
is there any advice for a person unable to go to a synagogue or present jewish? (for: any movement if im allowed to do that) (im not converted yet to clear any misconceptions)
Hey. Nova Scotian in a small town wanting to convert. Unable to travel due to lack of transportation and my town has no Synagogue. Want to convert to Reform as I am pan and trans, and my spouse is atheist (supportive of me wanting to convert). All emails to rabbis in the area and in BC have been lackluster/disheartening. I really wish to convert but the lack of ability or guidelines for online access is frustrating. Help?
