It had been a joyous evening of feasting and much talk among friends. The sound of laughter rang off the walls still, even as the guests were beginning to calm and settle in chairs away from the table for a small time of story-telling. Eowyn and Faramir were sitting together on a bench and listening to a man speak about his trip to the sea, when Eowyn glanced up by chance and noticed the green plant above them. 

Had it been any other, she might have denied tradition and done nothing, but instead she drew her husband's attention upwards. Gladly, then, she leaned closer and pressed a sweet kiss to his lips.
