Losing it over the fact you can dox people in FarCry 6 as part of the bandidos operations

The fact that the first thing we see in the FC6 opening is Diego’s silhouette looking at a distant ship is so damn tragic, and could be interpreted multiple ways.

The first one’s easy. It’s a representation of the boy feeling trapped, and like his opportunities for freedom and escape are way out of reach, but the second one could also be seen positively; Diego seeing an approaching ship in the distance, which empathises his feeling of hope and his audacity to dream about freedom.

The last frame of the opening comes right after Diego’s face and it shows a burning car in the reflection of his eye. I’m not sure how to interpret that, but it is likely either A. Diego not being blind to what is happening to Yara and the crimes his father commits, or B. Him being torn about his dreams of freedom and different life, because he sees the chaos unfolding on Yara’s streets.
