because i am bored and ive yet to properly acknowledge the end of one year and the beginning of another...
1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before? go to a musical. it was awesome. 2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? not really, ive been as lazy and retarded as i was before LOL. well on the upside, basing on my grades last semester, i think ive done better in school :D 3. Did anyone close to you give birth? i think my cousin did, but im not close with her so no. 4. Did anyone close to you die? they really werent close to me since i rarely saw them but yes. quite a bit of people actually. 5. What countries did you visit? irl? none. 6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011? more money...and an actual boyfriend so i can stop looking like a crazy person who only likes fictional men lol. (and because im getting really old, i should get one soon, its getting embarrassing lmao) OH! and a job and a license lol 7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? ehhhh...11/11/11 just because its easy to remember and a date that doesnt happen so often lol 8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? read as much as i did 9. What was your biggest failure? idk, maybe not working on my artistic endeavors as much as i told myself i would...and still not having a job and a license lol 10. Did you suffer illness or injury? well the most notable was the week post the removal of my wisdom teeth. that was fun though, i should be sick more often LOL 11. What was the best thing you bought? hmm, well i bought a shit load of blurays/dvd and books, and i love them all. 12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? hm, mine? im so awesome it should be celebrated lol.

OH! and alot of the US presidential candidates. lol im not even in the US but omg, their ads...everything they do seem so stupid that im not sure if i should laugh or pity the world. 14. What did you get really, really, really excited about? well i was excited for alot of things during 2011, here are some that i can remember:
Gintama returning last april
a bunch of movies coming out (ie. HP 7p2, Xmen first class, captain america, Lion King 3D, contagion, Hugo, etc)
Goliath came out last September
Walking Dead season 2
when i found out Bones and Booth became official since she was pregnant (lol)
a bunch of games that came out (Assassin's Creed Revelations, Batman: arkham asylum, etc)
possibly, every announcement made about the Hunger Games movies
all promo/trailers that came out about Games of Thrones season 2

OH YEAH! i went to North Bay to visit my sister. on the actual day, i finished my essay and spent the whole evening on a 5hr bus ride to northbay. for the weekend, we shopped, had dinner and watched 50/50 because i wanted some JGL on my birthday lol. i turned 20 31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? an increase on my finances and watching the movies/series that i missed 32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011? lazy-hobo-chic. i dont think i even know the concept of fashion anymore, i just wear the largest and most comfortable thing that is available to me lol 33. What political issue stirred you the most? the wars towards the Iron Throne. it is so incredibly complicated and have brought so much tragedies, its tearing me apart. Alek and Deryn...and Peeta and Prim, and Ned. ill never see them again OTL irl, my family back home. 37. Who was/were the best new person(s) you met? i met someone new? lmao 38. 2011 is a year of vengeance for the government. Kill the Arroyos and feel the yellowish gift of democracy. 2011 is a year of Nature's wrath against human. Earthquakes in different places, followed by Tsunami and Nuclear Spill rumor. And never forget the more than 1000 lives killed by Sendong in Northern Mindanao. 2011 is a year for Showbiz' heterogeneity. Full of shake and twist scenario, and too much junk and unhealthy love stories. 2011 is a year of global war. Man against man, nation against nation. Perpetual clash in the middle east, large figures of immorality against women and against children. 2011 is a year of preparation for more deadly ailments and sickness. 2011 is a year of economic struggle, the will for surviving is the name of the game. 2011 is a year for an inevitable conclusion that we are near the finale, for individual's run against death or even the last breath for our home planet. Behind these things, I'm still so happy to say bye bye to 2011. Though many things turn out to be negative, many things have unknowingly draw the lessons of life. Not only for the humanity, but even for my own life.
New year
A lot has happened to me...bad...good...overall, I'm over it 2011 is gone, everything before is gone now, I'm content with it finally. Now I want something new for me and my future, I'm leaving everything I know soon, and I think the person I've become is ready to leave it all behind. I've had a life worth living but now I'm going to live my life like how everyone wishes they could. With no regret...goodbye forever
Farewell 2011
You will in no way be missed. I always get really mad at people who are like "That year was sooo terrible! I am sooo glad it's gone," every freaking year. But honestly this year has probably been the worst year of my life thus far. So much stress. I probably spent 90% of it alone. I mean there have been some fantastic moments this year. And I discovered a lot of things I love.... But as pessimistic as this sounds the bad way outweighed the good.
My New Year's Resolution is probably just to fix all that and be happy. I am a senior. This is supposed to be the happiest year of my life (questionably... one of? depends on who you talk to.) there is no reason I need to be weighed down by the misery. I want to try to make the most of what's left of this school year and quit looking to college as an escape. Because let's face it. Not much is just going to change.
