tune in if you want to be honest. i didnt want to make a cringe rant account on tiktok with the layouts and the same reused hot takes, so i decided to go to tumblr to rant about my daily life honestly, my life is practically a bollywood movie lmao.i wanted to just talk about my life without any judgement, talking on the internet is basically talking into the void anyway. honestly i just miss when the internet was non judgmental. especially tiktok in 2019 when it was cringe and weird to have it lmaoo! anyway before i go on a tangent im gonna go for today

I started a new save file for Legends ZA and have been shiny hunting a houndour for the last couple of days because I just feel like Paxton needs one for *aesthetic*

After about an hour of hunting today I decided to take a break. What was immediately in the first tree right outside the zone 6 gate? A shiny panpour.

And I'm just gonna say it. The good guys are assholes. It is BONKERS to me how much these writers have convinced themselves that having been a nerd or bullied once in your life justifies being a bully yourself. It's ironic because much of stranger fandom likes to accuse anyone who defends Billy as believing that, when the show itself rubber stamps the constant belittling and yes bullying, of a character they claim to love. With S5 the Duffers have said with their whole chest that Steve's place in the group is as something other than the real heros. He's a punching bag for them and free labor. He's given no respect or consideration, and despite him making all the same sacrifices and showing all the same dedication as every other member of the group, he is the only one still having to prove he's something other than just a dumb rich jock.

It's a show, but it honestly leaves me feeling so gross. Ew. What in the entitled victim complex gone wrong is all that. Especially since they are continuing to reinforce the idea that Steve and Robin are 'sames', while layering their 'I'm clever too' moments in these quirky bits that are heavily coded as neurodivergent behavior. Quite on accident I am sure, the Duffers have allowed Maya and Joe to drive their characters to this place where they are poster children for adhd and autism - and I can't express enough how much that scratches my brain just right - but I also know that all of this is nothing more than jokes to the writters and that's the problem.

Steve and Robin aren't as smart as the others and they arrive at conclusions in dumb silly ways. Hillarious.

Anyway Steve's friends suck. I will forever be rescuing this man through Billy’s love and the power of realizing your own value and telling the naysayers to get bent.

In light of a disturbing discovery with Zoe calling Andre Dre-Dre, imma just try to picture my own teenaged girl OCs calling a grownass man some cutesy nickname. The results are either their parents calling for an intervention or Blair, most wary considering she's working in the modeling industry, trying to SOS at Mrs. Liung or any other person in the room.

Idk, like, they don't even have the benefit of the doubt with having known the girl since toddlerhood that it could've just been a nickname that stuck. Some family members do get stuck with weird nicknames like that. I dunno my radar's just been going off.

It's weirder to me than that time they let in strangers, including adults, into Adrien's room for a party, or that time just about everyone sat on Luka's bed with him as their free therapist. Maybe it's just the ridiculousness filter helping these scenes. But Zoe calling Andre "Dre-Dre"... I don't think there's any context that makes this sound any better. Like, aren't they living alone together now? Without hotel staff? Were there no women in the writing room when they wrote this down?

It's really depressing to want to live a certain kind of life that is just out of reach for you. It's hard to keep the "one day at a time" mentality when people you love get to live it and you have to watch them live it without you.

I'll always be grateful for what I have today and for the steps that I already took, because the only way from here is up. It just really hurts sometimes.
