PEEPERS ;; ☼ Baby Farrah!!
The reason why Farrah oftentimes calls others momma, ma, mimi, or bama (in Dulce’s case) is because naturally, in his precious little mind, any loving/welcoming caregiver is likened to his actual mother, regardless of their identity. In one given situation, the sons [of Dulce] were only slightly mortified when the child promptly exclaimed “momma!” whilst he urged one of them to pick him up. He isn’t quite old enough to differentiate between what he should or should not call another in his presence. Just to add onto that, he’s an innocent baby who thinks most, if not everyone he meets, automatically qualifies as mommy. He doesn’t yet have to ability to associate certain words with the appropriate person, though he intends no harm, either way. Others whom he feels comfortable around merely appear to him as parental figures, thus the jumbled word association to make up for his minute vocabulary at his current age and mindset. Also, to add onto that, he only has ONE living parent (his Carrier); and so really, he hasn’t the faintest clue that there is more than a single term to call someone. It’s a natural response to think anyone is his mother when she’s the one who mainly accompanies him in most instances.
