…actually Martin has a lot of shame related to feeling any kind of sexual or romantic attraction, being in Sanguine’s cult fucked him up really bad and he hasn’t fully come to terms with it
as for the Space Satan stuff I don’t think he’s absolutely sure until the very end of the questline, given his various crisies of faith

Martin’s talking VERY relevant shit about cosmology one evening and HoK is just kind of dozing to the very nice sound of his voice and is absolutely not absorbing any of it
Martin’s hands are gently calloused and gentle and just…really nice to hold during fireside chats on bitterly cold nights at cloud ruler
HoK could listen to him talk for hours, it’s so comforting and cloud ruler really is the one place they can rest in safety. i don’t think they ever truly let their guard down. but compared to the cities full of mythic dawn sleeper agents and the dangers of traveling on the road they can sleep soundly
things specific to my boy, Farric:
personally I don’t think they ever actually confessed feelings…at least not until the very end of the storyline. I mostly see a lot of nerdy UST
he has trauma related to learning magic and Martin is a good teacher, especially for restoration which my boy desperately needs help with. eventually encourages him to join the mage’s guild
in general he’s traumatized and not great at being vulnerable with people or making actual relationships…Martin is good for him
he shyly plays his lute for him…it’s very sweet
my boy is ALL ABOUT alchemy and flower language and plots out arrangements where he declares his love for Martin…but like I said I don’t think those get made while he’s still alive…but absolutely are left at the feet of the dragon ‘statue’
i’m a big big fan of the pet theory over on our discord that the dragonborn is the spiritual offspring of a union between Martintosh and SheoHoK, refusing to let the world they fought for end
they have a complicated relationship as cosmic opposites but do care for and miss each other intensely
*yes Cyrodiil feels warmer about him but Martin is educated enough to know about the less kind depictions and Shezarr’s popularity has waned by the late 3rd era
