A New Podcast: Farrier's Phone.
My friend Tim Lambourne convinced me to record a podcast with him and his mate Todd called Farrier's Phone. Basically, we just find random numbers in my phone's address book that have accumulated through seven years of doing stories for 3News.
Then we dial them and ask a bunch of questions, from art to toilet behaviour. Farrier's Phone will be on iTunes shortly, but you can find episode 1 here. GeorgeFM are kindly letting us use their studio to make it, and are kindly hosting it. The podcast will be available to subscribe to on iTunes after we've had it there for a few episodes (I don't really understand this podcast stuff, but that's what they tell me).
In episode 1 we try and dial a porn star and Suzanne Paul, but end up with wonderful guests in the form of Labour MP Jacinda Ardern, writer Duncan Greive and film nut Dominic Corry.
We've just recorded episode two which I am quite excited about, and includes a paramedic and one of my favourite New Zealand TV-makers.
