truly a unique feeling to be watched by a group of three tattoo artists as a fourth tattoos you. like you’re not a full body, you’re almost an object. a canvas. this extends to the way they were talking about what was happening, like i as a person wasn’t really there, the conversation was entirely about my skin and the process of tattooing it.

It’s soooo fascinating to see how differently characters, relationships, and events can be ever so slightly changed between each step in the movie making process, and how those little changes can result in drastically different canon and fanon. Seeing just those little bits from old guard screenplay reminds me of the costume tests Gina released back in January where Nicky was wearing a leather jacket and vans, and how if that one outfit had been kept, people might have made completely different interpretations and headcanons about his character... fascinating
