Link in bio today for the course sale promo thru Sundayz. In the late 80s the diversity in the fashion magazines inspired me to think that if I became a fashion designer I could change the world by promoting images of people living and loving together... and promote peace. By the time I finished school with a pile of loans and NYC debt, I left that dream aside, but still #racism is something that always guided me... into cultural mixing, into learning, into environments where I got to know people from other places and worlds....in NYC, in Paris, to find answers, to meet people, to learn about "OTHERS" as much as I could, because all I know is that I always wanted to feel like we are all connected, because we know deep down we are. We're born with that knowing. If humans can learn fear, hate, and judgment, surely we can learn love, acceptance, and celebration of one another more easily than hate. We all have so much to share, and we are all one. Here's to mixing, mingling, and love, and learning, and learning history, and using history to build the best now and the best future that we ALL DESERVE. Hold this vision fast.... we've got to hold it fast and high. Maybe the work I wanted to do so long ago is ready for me.
