Anne Jones makes us all look pretty slow. In 2007, the sixth-time World Champion Speed Reader read ‘Deathly Hallows’ in a stunning 47 minutes, give or take a second. That’s 4,251 wpm, or about 14 times faster than a “normal” reader.

I argued with my fiance last night about whether it was actually possible for his uncle to have read the Deathly Hallows in one night, saying that of course he must have been exaggerating and that it was humanly impossible. Guess this proves me wrong!

Things I Do When Reading:

End up stopping in a middle of a sentence and reading two or three lines before going back to to finish the first sentence and then reading all of it over again.
